Theaimofthestudywastoevaluatetheeffectoftherapyballseatingasanalternativefortypicalchair
seatinginaclassroom.Researchersevaluatedtheeffectofballseatingonthestudent'ssittingdiscomfort
andacademicperformanceusingaquestionnaireandproblembasedlearningscales.Thestudyexplains
thatthehumanbrainmaintainsanoptimalstateofarousalandattentiononlywiththehelpofsensory
stimuli,andarousalcanbeeitherlowassociatedwithlethargyanddrowsinessorhighleadingto
hyperactivityanddistractibility.Sensorymodulationisrequiredforoptimalattentionand
