Brief Lesson Description:


The students will review quickly the last lesson (brain storm).
The students will classify the different from plants and animal needs.
The students will be able to know about where do animals live.
Performance Expectation(s):
The students will do a revision work sheet about the last lesson.
The work sheet has three different types of questions.
The teacher will give the high level students the work sheet that has to
write sentences about the animals and plant needs.
The teacher will give the mid level of students the worksheet that has to
select the right option.
The students will give the low level of students the worksheet that has
matching the word with the picture.
Specific Learning Outcomes:
Students will understand and recognize how the different is the plants
and animal needs.
Students will know the Habitat means.

Prior Student Knowledge:
They already know the plants and animal needs.
The students know that each animal where they live and why they live
there.

LESSON PLAN 5-E Model
ENGAGE: Opening Activity Access Prior Learning / Stimulate
Interest / Generate Questions:
Talking about last lesson and remember what was our lesson about.
Review the last lesson (worksheet).
Show the students a small PowerPoint (ocean, desert, forest and
wetland) pictures.
Discussing with the students about the pictures.
Q and A format ( questions / answers ).
Show the students a Vide about the where the animals lives.
EXPLORE: Lesson Description Materials Needed / Probing or
Clarifying Questions:
Materials needs : sticks with the pictures and 4 cups.
Teacher will let the students to do the sticks activity and this activity is
in groups and this activity is all about sticks with animals picture and the
students have to classify the animals pictures to right cup. There is a 4
cups and for each cup has a picture of one Habitat such as ( forest,
ocean, desert and wetland).
If the students make a mistake the teacher will discuss about it with the
students and then the teacher will give the students the answer of the
student mistake.

EXPLAIN: Concepts Explained and Vocabulary Defined:


Show them another PowerPoint which include the four habitat places
( ocean, forest, wetland and desert ).
Teacher will show the students different Habitats in the powerpoint and
the teacher will let the students to tell what they have an information
about the Habitats.
Teacher will link the lesson of today with the students life.
Teacher will discuss about the habitats with the students.
Vocabulary: ( Habitat )

ELABORATE: Applications and Extensions:


Teacher will give each student one flash card and the other side of the
cards there is one question.
Teacher will let the students to talk in pairs and the teacher will walk
around the classroom and listen to what the students talking about.
In this stage the students will get more information and also they will get
a chance to talk free in the classroom.
This activity promote the speaking and listing skills for the students.
They are children and they love to talk so her the teacher can give them
a chance to talk.
EVALUATE:
Teacher will have a box has an animals on it and the teacher will put the
4 Habitats in 4 tables.
Then the students have to make a circle.
Each group will have an Habitat.
The students will take the right animals and put it in right Habitat.
Then the teacher will see what they have done if it right then the
teacher can make sure all the groups is finished.
Then the teacher can let the students to move to other Habitat ( table).
The teacher will end the lesson about asking the students some

questions:
1- What we learn today?
2- Did we achieve the todays objective?
3- What is the types of Habitats we talked about it today?
