According to decision made by the 5th meeting of the Administrative Council, the students who enter in
Taipei Tech from the academic year 103, shall apply for this scholarship based on the new regulation;
those who enter in Taipei Tech before the academic year 103 can apply for this based on the old
regulation. Please refer to Taipei Tech International Graduate Students Scholarship for for the detail.
2.
Applicants eligibility shall be cancelled or terminated under the circumstances listed below:

Not recommended by their department and institute, or fail to get approved by the Office of
International Affairs for renewal of the scholarship.

Take leave of absence, or is expelled from the university or give up his/her pursuit of study without
completing the required procedure of withdraw or school-leaving, or being expelled from university.

Fail to enroll in the first academic year or to register at the stipulated time of each semester.

Departure from Taiwan for more than one month during a semester, or received poor academic
performance, which is reported to the university and confirmed by his or her advisor, department or
institute, the Office of Academic Affairs or other university administrative office.

Applicant violates R.O.C. laws

Receive one minor demerit or more as punishment for violation of university regulations and
decision to terminate the students scholarship by the Taipei Tech Scholarship Commission.

(1) The Scholarship granted to recipients will be discontinued in the following month immediately
after recipients graduate or drop out of the Universityafter resuming studies at the University,
the Scholarship recipient shall file for resumption of the Scholarship within the stipulated time.
(2) The scholarship will be revoked and terminated in the following month immediately after
recipients are expelled or graduate from the University.

Recipients shall sign one declaration agreeing that if any of the information or documentation that they
provided in applying for admission or financial aid is found to be false or forged, the recipients eligibility
will be terminated, and the recipient subject to punishment under the relevant university regulations, and
be required to return the scholarship funding already received.
4.

The scholarship recipients can apply for fees deduction from the scholarship if he/she is experiencing
financial difficulties. If the application is accepted, the tuition fees, including insurance, dormitory fees,
will be deducted from the monthly stipends.
