Project Plan

Issue Management Plan:

The process of identifying and resolving issues.
We would need to set up a support agreement with the vendor before the implementation phase.
Our agreement is that both our company and the vendor would have a support group with a
hotline. If Wentworths hotline was not able to come up with a solution for the end user than it
would be connected to the vendors hotline where they would resolve the users issue. Criteria for
the hotline:
-Calls are answered within 30 seconds
-During Wentworths business hours
Change Management Plan
The changes will be managed using the department's program database and reviewed during
department meetings. The process will begin with a review of the change requests and then the
change request will be updated in the database and logged, this is all done in the department
meetings.
Quality Management Plan:
After a project charter is signed off, a checklist based on the product requirement from the client
is developed in order to achieve the desired quality for the final solution. The checklist will
include measurement for standards of the process and product (mainly based on the client
standards) as well as the solution functionality based on client need.
Product Management Plan:
The client's specifications, stakeholder feedback, and vendor product information will be
obtained and managed in our project binder. Any further modification to the vendors solution
will also be tracked and managed in the project database (Google Drive).
Cost Management Plan:

Costs will be strictly dependent on the client requirement. In the process of researching for
vendors solution, cost for captioning and transcription per minute can only be $3.00/ min and
below.
Project Management Plan:
To complete our project, we will meet with Ella Epshteyn from the Learning Innovation and
Technology (LIT) to determine what the requirements are for the captioning and transcription
project. After we have gathered enough information from the client and gotten the Project
Charter signed, we would research several vendor options to fit all of the criterias the client
needed. Finally, our research and recommendation will be presented to Ella for her final
decision. The detailed project schedule is included in our project binder.
Risk Management Plan:
The risks that the team has evaluated for this project is the dashboard crashing, the vendor not
living up the their turn-around time and the support hotline not being efficient enough for end
users. We will track these risks by using a pilot test for the professors and the LIT department.
After the pilot testing is complete the LIT department will evaluate each of the issues that
occurred with the system and communicate them with the vendors for support.

Human Resource Management Plan:

Project Sponsorship Roles:

Apply leadership to the project
Support the project throughout the process
Provides resources throughout the process
Learning Innovation and Technology (LIT) Roles:
Provide technical support related to the chosen solution
Release Management Plan: Learning Innovation and Technology will manage and track the
distribution of hardware and software to students.
