Comments:
-While we did calendar I had my student help me fill in the next day,
he found the date out of a handful of number choices. He told me
the date and I asked him help me with the weather, we discussed
that it was not raining if it is sunny out. He seems to repeat most of
what I say so it is hard to hold a discussion with him.
-I gave him two choices when asked to do an activity, this let him
choose what he wanted to do next, sort or read a book, walk or
break.
-I was aware of the amount of time that I was working with my
student as well as the amount of time that I was giving a break to
himhe was able to complete all the work that was required of him
because of this breakwork method.

student to cope with his behaviors and continue working giving him
breaks after working so that he was ready to work again.

Throughout this placement I worked hard to involve my student in work that is relative to what he is capable of. Working though
behaviors that were unpredictable and at some times aggressive was a difficult task to manage with academics. I worked hard to
implement coping strategies and balance to create an atmosphere where positive work could be done.
