Summary

In chapter 12, you are able to use the information collected in order to see the mere future
of technology and the different changing roles of teachers that will result from it. Evolving and
emerging technologies are very much likely to impact schools. Emerging technologies continue
to affect education and the roles of teachers as well continue to change. It becomes a more
personally responsive, more collaborative, as well as more individualized in addressing the
specific needs of the learner. In order to adopt the implemented technologies in schools, many
schools will have to undergo many changes. However, is schools undergo these changes; they
will be able to articulate the professional impact of technological change in education. MOOCs
or digital badges will change how teachers use technology to ensure instruction that addresses
the unique needs of the learner.

Reflection
I agree with chapter 12. In 20 years from now, teachers roles will differ greatly from what
they are today. Technology continues to evolve rapidly and so does the need for different kinds
of techniques and digital badges. Personalized learning will as well alter the way technology is
implemented in the classroom and will have a significant impact on education for students and
teachers.
