PROCEDURE
INTRODUCTION
Students will begin warming up my running around the gym, first like students, then

Time
5-10m

like:
-horses (galloping)
-crabs (back crawl)
-gorillas (dragging arms, stooped backs)
-chickens (tucked up arms, bobbing heads)
-Pick an Animal!
BODY
Once students are warmed up, we will play Wax Museum. Teacher will be the
Museum Curator.
You guys are the Wax Figures in this museum. But theres something special about
the wax statues: they MOVE! But only when no one is looking. I want you all to
spread out in the gym, and get into a statue pose with funny faces. You cant just
stand normal. I will close my eyes and say The museum is now OPEN. Which
means I will wander through you all. You cant move when Im looking at you, only
when I turn my back. If I catch you, you become a curator.
1) Be Fair. Give people a chance to move when youre not looking.
2) No touching. Curators are not allowed to touch the museum pieces.
