PROCEDURE
INTRODUCTION
Begin by having students push their desks back, and have everyone standing or

sitting on the carpet, so that they can all see the board.
Explain that we are going to be learning songs today. Each song will be played at
least 2 times over.
BODY
Show the videos.

1) Bonjour mes Amis, bonjour. Explain that this song has the basic French
introductory phrases. (bonjour, comment ca va, ca va bien, au revoir.)
2) Belle Pieuvre. Explain the vocabulary of the song, and encourage students to
make up movements, if they want.
3) Arc-En-Ciel. Explain to students that the song tells the colours and some
basic actions.
4) *If Time Permits* Je suis un Pizza. A funny song. Introduces vocab related
to food.
CLOSURE
Ask students for questions.
