1. Locate 3 credible websites about Shakespeare or the play Hamlet


When was the last time the sire was updated?
Does it look organized, grammatical correct, and can you find who manages the website?
Does it have mostly facts instead of opinions?
Does it link to other credible websites?
Stay away from personal websites, Wikipedia, answer.com sites, and blogs
2. Using direct quotes, Choose one fact to write down from each website
Ex. Shakespeares Hamlet is one of the most famous tragedies.

3. Then use citationmachine.net to create a source and use that completed source to create a Works Cited Page
a. Go to MLA format
b. then choose Website
c. Then copy and paste the exact web address into the autofill mode then click search websites
d. Your website should appear if you see it, then click select

e. Then click on continue to final step


f. Make sure all information looks correct AND that you have clicked YES under display URL then click
create citation
g. Copy and Paste your final source into a Google Document

Setting-up Your Works Cited Page


1. Put Works Cited at the top centered
2. Place the sources in alphabetical order (if it starts with a number, it comes first)
3. Make sure you indent after the first line of each source. ( In order to indent you have to enter, enter,
backspace, backspace, tab)
4. Do not put any extra spacing between sources
5. Double-space your paper
6. It should look just like the example below
