1. What, if anything, do you believe the federal government should do to control
global climate change?
o They should try to get businesses that reduce their emissions and
wasters.
2. What, if anything, should the federal government do to address our nations
energy issues?
o Encourage people and businesses to use energy saving products.
3. What are the most important things that should be done to improve our nations
economy?
o The people that earn more money should be taxed. The federal
government should also stop spending on unnecessary things.
4. What should the federal government do, if anything, to ensure that every
American has health coverage?
o They should improve the ideas of Obamacare and fix any issues it
may have caused.
5. What should be our short term and long term goals in the Middle East?
o Short term- The war on terrorism should be resolved.
Long term- After it is resolved the U.S. should protect Middle
Eastern Countries but not have troops on the ground.
6. Twenty years ago, Islamic terrorism was a sleeper issue. Some people warned
about it, but few paid much attention to it. Same thing for climate change. In
your opinion, what is todays sleeper issue?
o The increase in relying on technology for everything may cause
more breaking into our governments secrets and maybe cause
chaos.
7. What should be done at the federal level, if anything, to combat the high cost of
health care?

o There should be investigations of the patients that dont have
economic income.
8. How can civil liberties be preserved while giving our government necessary tools
to fight terrorism? Example: Patriot Act
o Weapons should stop being made and the government has to focus
on who enters the U.S. to make sure terrorist dont enter.
9. What, if anything, should the federal government do about immigration?
o They should make it easier and cost less for immigrations to
become citizens. Deep background checks would also be in place.
10. How will you balance the continuing costs of military actions with the costs of
domestic needs?
o Balancing both cost should be done by anyone that needs help, it
shouldnt be on one or the other.
11. What should be done, if anything, to help young Americans achieve greater
financial security?
o Americans that need help achieving financial aid should get as
much help as needed if they have low income.
12. What if, anything, should the federal government do to create the worlds best
educational system for all children in America?
o To have a great educational system in America the government
needs to provide the schools with more technology.
