The Austin-Based Book Publisher Wins at This Year’s Going Green Awards

January 26, 2009 (Austin, TX): The Austin-based publishing and distribution company

Leader award in this year’s Going Green Awards, sponsored by the Austin Business Journal
(http://austin.bizjournals.com/austin).

Greenleaf won the Green Business Leader award for its ongoing partnership with Tree Neutral
(http://www.treeneutral.com) as part of its green-focused publishing initiatives.

Greenleaf is now in its second year of partnering with the Tree Neutral program that works with
companies to minimize their impact on the environment. Tree Neutral focuses on offsetting tree
consumption by taking proactive steps such as planting trees in direct proportion to the number of
trees used by a business, recycling, converting to electronic records, and other methods of tree
consumption reduction.
