WORK EXPERIENCE OUTSIDE THE FIELD OF EDUCATION
I worked in the corporate world for almost 20 years as a Human Resources Professional
(SHRM), an Administrative Assistant, Benefits and Payroll specialist and a Microsoft Trainer
(Certified). This experience has become extremely valuable in my position as a teacher. It
enables me to organize and maintain the enormous amount of paper required in the teaching
profession. This includes student data tracking, the new Teacher Evaluation Instrument, lesson
plans, parent communication and other school related items.
