Dear Families and Guardians of Grade Six,

Hello, my name is Shane Hawke and I am the PSI Student from the University of Lethbridge. I
have been student teaching in the Grade 6 classrooms this semester.
I am writing this letter to you in regards to my professional portfolio.
It is an expectation for my university classes to have pictures of myself teaching, structure and
climate in the classroom, and pictures of student work. There is a possibility that your childs
likeness would be included in photographs. I am writing this letter to you to ask for permission to
use pictures on my online portfolio site if they involve your child. These photos are strictly
professional and used for my teaching portfolios.
