SECTION 8 Site Logistic & Distributation 8.1 Site Logistic This plan is mainly about site delivery of curtain wall products. The truck which carries the curtain wall products will be parked in the designated area, The curtain wall products will be unloaded and hoisted to the | allowable storage area by using Main Contractor's crane (we will negotiate with Main Contractor for the ‘special period for us to us Main Contractor's crane to unload and hoist the paneis). if the curtain walt panels are not within the accessible scope of Main Contractor's crane, we will use mobile crane to unload the panel 8.4.4 UnloadingMain Contractor's Attendences 1 The preparation of 1 Storerooms (size approx. equal to 50m2) for tools & accessories storage at a location inside the building, area allocated by the Main Contractor (MC). The preparation of 1 Closed Area (size approx. equal to 50m2) with A/C and ventilator for data & drawings Keeping and sealant & paint storage at a location inside ihe building, area allocated by the Mein Contractor (MC). The provision of an On-site Storage Area {size approx, 2000m2) at ground floor with voad base suitable for small whee! forkift operation by the Main Contractor, This ares is: required fo fold materials in the event that the hoists or tower cranes are aot immediately available for the verticat distribution of the materials to the required floors. Jease note that it is crucial that the details of the storage place are agreed between Yuanda and the MC in order fo enable efficient and safe handing. Temporary storage area for C/W materials will be required on every Noor inside ttre butiding and on the terrace of Podium to facilitate site inrstatation, 8.1.2 Work Area Cleaning and Site Hygiene Yuanda will maintain a clear, clean and safe environment in which to carry out our installation activities. ‘Yuanda operatives will dispose of their rubbish (packing material etc.) at the rubbish skips provided by the Main Contractor, which will be located at agreed central areas. adjacent ta the Woks, The MC will provide these skips for debris collection at the jab site and will take care of the disposal of all debris. No rubbish / debris will be left on site. All packing materials etc. will be either removed from site by Yuanda operatives or placed in the rubbish skips provided. The MC wil keep one rubbish bin in each Yuanda working area. They will empty all bins delly, or as required in order to maintain clear, clean and safe working area forthe Yuanda operatives. Refer separate section of this document kientifying specific HSE Policy, Hoist and Crane Requirements Hoists will be required to be provided for men and materials access to the roof, to be provided by the Main Contractor. ‘The exclusive (during the periods of allocation to us) free use of vertical passenger / material hoists (supplied with an operator by the MC) is required to permit the distribution of materials. and personnel to the works areas. 8.1.3 Hoist According to the actual situations and specific characteristics of this project and the hoisting and installation scheme, the unit panels will be stored in the building. The unit panels will be stored outside the building temporarily, arid then will be lifted into the building by tower crane and by the loading platform that is erected on the building for loading panels based an the position of lift equipments and its hoisting range. And the loading platform should be erected in the working range of tower crane. If the whole project is divided inta many hoisting areas, it is better to erect a loading platform on each heisting area. Thus, the unit panels that get Into the building through the loading platform may satisfy the hoisting and installation by lift equipmentsin this area. The erection of the loading platform [ should be coordinated with Main Contractor and meanwhile, approved by all relevant parties, The loading platform is made of steel. And the width and projecting length of leading platform should satisfy the maximum siza of the unit panel in this project; and we should take the safely distance into consideration, to ensure the unit panels may ba loaded on the mobile Flies pallet and then be pushed into bullding by workers, The loading platform is generally processed and manufactured on site. After manufacture, it shall be hoisted and installed by Main Contractor's Tower erane.Transportation on floors (by pallet truck)
