RESUME
Reporting a patient, female, 50 years old, referred from neurology
outpatient clinic with ICH. The chief complaint was kelemahan anggota
tubuh sebelah kanan. On February 2014, She got intra cerebral hemorrhage
stroke at left corona radiata, left basal ganglia to left temporal lobe ( volume
25 cc ) with midline deviation to the right ( 0,3 cm ). After being
discharged from the hospital, she just started the rehabilitation program in
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation outpatient clinic since June 2014 ( 4
months
later ).
The rehabilitation program includes modalities ( NMES to prevent the
atrophy and motoric reeducation for the muscle with MMT less than 3 ),
therapeutic exercises, occupational therapy, speech therapy and orthesa ( AFO
splint and cock up wrist splint ).
After 8 months therapy, there are a lot of improvements so now she can
ambulate and do her activities daily living independently.
