Protection of Privacy Act

This is to confirm that, on February 11, 2009, Executive Council received your request for access to
the following recordS/information:
"The first six and last six (twelve in all) "purple files" file folders in the "purple file" filing
sequence, including all contents of said folders, and the labels, covering slips, distribution
slips, or any other information written or recorded on, or affixed or attached to the interior
or exterior of the folder. For greater clarity, this request is in respect of the "purple files"
referred to in an email from one Elizabeth Matthews to Rob Antle date and time stamped
Jan. 29, 2008; 6:17p.m. ".

I would like to advise that Executive Council does not have any responsive records with regard to
this request.
Section 43 of the Act provides that you may ask the Information and Privacy Commissioner to
review access or you may appeal to the Supreme Court Trial Division. A request to the
Commissioner shall be made in writing within 60 days of the date of this letter or within a longer
period that may be allowed by the Information and Privacy Commissioner.
