A F F I D A V I T OF D E S I S T A N C E
I, __________, married, of legal age and resident of________, after having been
duly sworn to in accordance with law do hereby depose and say:
1. That I am the private complainant of the case of Grave Threats filed before the
Provincial Prosecutors Office dubbed as _____, against _____________;
2. That after discussing the matter and having met again with the
respondents/accused, it was then found out that what had transpired was a
misunderstanding and misinterpretation of events;
3. That we had then agreed to settle everything amicably and go on and continue
our good relations considering that we are all having close family relations;
4. That I am then withdrawing my complaint and hereby desist in the
prosecution thereof as I am no longer interested in pursuing it in view of the
above;
5. That I am executing this affidavit of desistance to attest to the truth of the
foregoing with the prayer that the case I filed be dismissed.
