I no longer have his number. If you would send it to me, I would be happy to call him.

Ms. Toop,
It is my understanding that you placed a call to Joe DiBrigida today regarding Mr. Pellinos complaint. As
you know, Mr. Pellinos complaint was dismissed by the Execu ve Branch Ethics Commi ee and there is
nothing now pending before the Commi ee. If you have ques ons, please direct them to me, as legal
counsel for the commi ee.

I need to correct your descrip on of my telephone conversa on with Mr. Pellino last evening. I
acknowledged that both A orney Dibrigida and I had sent Mr. Pellino le ers, although I do not recall
giving a specic number. I explained that all of those le ers would have been mailed through the
mailroom for the State and likely would have been stamped using the same postage meter. I have no
knowledge as to what the postage meter stamp says or whether it is the same one used by DES, and thus
would not have said anything about that. I did not at any point state that any of the le ers contained
false informa on, or that a le er from A orney Dibrigida men oned individuals that were never named
in the complaint.
I trust that this clarica on is helpful.
