Summary
In this lesson, students will learn about the Simple Present Tense affirmative, negative,
and interrogative. The lesson starts with a brief summary of the prerequisite topic of this
lesson, which is Simple Present Tense- to be. Once students recall the basic points of

that topic, they will be ready to learn the new topic that can be thought as the
continuous part of that previous topic. As a second phase, the techniques of
Suggestopedia are started to be used. A comfortable environment Is made for the
students, so that they can be ready for the new topic. A slow music is listened, and
students are wanted to relax. While they are listening, the concept map including the
outline of the presentation is shown. Thus, they learn about the topic which will be
covered in the lesson, and this can affect them in a way that they fell ready to learn.
After this little introduction of the lesson, the main part starts. With the GrammarTranslation Method, the topic is taught explicitly. The important points are highlighted. In
this phase, the Prezi presentation is given, and topic is introduced. Example sentences
are made, and students are wanted to practice on these examples. Some techniques of
GTM, such as fill- in the blank, and translation of the sentences are used to make
students practice on the topic. These two parts are the presentation and practice. The
last phase of the lesson is the production and measurement part. In this phase, they are
wanted to make groups and write a brief information using the new topic- Simple
Present Tense with action verbs- about one occasion of a country they want. This part is
supposed to be along with the theme of the unit. Finally, a quiz from Obsurvey is
