Kellyville Black were rubbish on Saturday.

For a whole host of reasons, the team was flat and had
to fight to wake themselves up. Having played on Tuesday
and playing a team down the table, along with a few sore
legs, the crocks outnumbering the team...Thommo and
Fewelly sitting this one out along with the regulars
spectators.
Starting on top, with Castle Hill sitting back didnt
actually help the fragile minds and bodies in the Black
team...scoring after about 15 through a Vic turn and run in
the area, the Blacks then dropped o and were lucky to
only be 2-1 down at the break. Castle Hill taking advantage
of the Blacks lack of movement in both defense and
attack.
Everything was one out and there were way too many
spectators on the park.
The break helped the Blacks who have not turned it
up in a match this season, having fought back in previous
games. The second half saw a very dominant Blacks get
one back through a penalty.

NEXT MATCH
Sat v Kellyville Red

The team pushed to the end and were unlucky to not

get a winner in the end - plenty of frustration with the
result, knowing we slacked o in the first half.
The other results on Saturday have gone the Blacks
way, and with a game in hand can go top with a win in the
catch up. The evenness of the comp needs to be blown
apart over the next few games.
The State Cup boys showed up on Sunday and with 9
men made sure we stayed fine free and kept open the
possibility of Champions of Champions by not forfeiting State Cup is now out of the way (Yes Fewelly and Bolty - I
can hear you now!).
With players coming slowly back in from holidays,
suspensions and injuries, we all know the next few rounds
are critical to put ourselves in a position to win the Minor
Premiership. It is time to give the others something to
chase...
TRAINING WED 7:30 start.

staying standing) was more of a
