Drones: Episode 15: Trap

Teller tossed & turned in his sleep, covered in sweat. The purple crystal he had
received the day before glowed on his bed-side table. No! Abra! Please come
back! Dont Leave me! Teller muttered in his sleep. The choker around his
neck began to flicker with a light, slowly it began to lose its shine and the gold
colour of the choker began to dull slightly. A small crack mysteriously formed in it.

*** Location Change ***

Abra was sitting at the breakfast table in the Dark Ligers cafeteria, ignoring all the
male members staring at her, when Teller walked in. While Abra was eating, Teller
went drone & used a large junk spike from the ground to throw all the tables up,
tossing every male member off their seats. For a split second, his normally ambercoloured eyes flickered with a sickly purple glow before returning to normal.

As Abra turned to the entrance, she spotted Junk & her cat ears perked up as a
smile covered her face. She waved him over, completely oblivious to what hed just
done. Are you alright Teller? You dont look well She noted with a frown. I just
had a bad dream Thats all He remarked as he shattered his armour & sat
down beside her. Abra Do you think I did the right thing when I shielded us like
Rauk-Shao ordered & left him to perish? Teller asked as he glanced at her
with a look Abra had never seen before.

Why do you ask that? Its not like you to doubt yourself like this Abra
admitted. I just Feel I couldve done more I felt helpless Being unable to save
everyone Teller admitted. Teller, you shouldnt let things like that bother you! If
we had tried to protect Rauk-Shao too, he wouldnt have made that big flame that
Ripp saw & none of us would be here right now. She reminded him.

He also wouldnt be in emergency right now Teller stated as he got up & was
about to leave, when Abra grabbed him by the wrist. Teller Something isnt right
about you I can tell there is something on your mind Im really worried about
you Please tell me what it is thats really troubling you Abra pleaded.

Ill think about it Teller replied as he pulled free & ran off, leaving Abra staring
at the doorway he fled through with tear-filled eyes. Her ears flopped down as she
closed her eyes. Why Why cant you just tell me whats on your mind Did we
not vow to always be there for one another? She whined as she buried her head
in her arms & wept.

*** Location Change ***

So what are all of these supplies for, Nalla? Ripp asked as he followed Nalla down
a sidewalk in the down-town area of their city, layers upon layers of bags in his
arms. Well as you must know, our academy also teaches drones as well as sends
them on missions. For a while now its actually been on a long-term vacation. But
soon it will be starting back up. All these supplies are for you, me & the others for
when that happens. Nalla explained as she checked a list shed been carrying
around the whole day.

Speaking of which, I was wondering Ricky told me there were less drones in his
world then there are members in the academy. How is it possible that they all have
powers even though there arent enough drones for all of them? Ripp asked
curiously.

That is a question better left for Janelle, head of the academys Genetics
department. Nalla replied. Genetics section? Does that mean her partner is
Genetics? Ricky asked, materializing beside Nalla. Thats right. Did you know her
back in your world? Nalla replied giving Ricky a glance. Yes. She had saved many
lives, as well as solved many problems. She was one of our most depended-upon
drones. She was also one of the brightest, along with Techno. Ricky explained.

Just then, Nalla froze, causing Ripp to collide into her, dropping all the bags & items
inside them. Ouw! What the heck?! Ripp growled. As he glanced up to look at
Nalla, he fell silent. Laying on the ground in front of them on the sidewalk was a

dark purple drone crystal. What the heck is a drone crystal doing laying on the
ground like that? Nalla asked as she glanced at Ripp. That aura Ricky muttered
as he glanced at it. What is it Ricky? Ripp asked as he got to his feet.

That crystal It can only belong to one drone That has to be the crystal
containing the drone of poison! He announced. Well lets take it back with us. With
an element like that, we cant let just anyone get their hands on it. Ripp noted.
Nalla nodded & reached down, picking up the crystal. As she was about to bring it
over to Ripp, a crow flew by, grabbing the crystal out of Nallas hands, & flew off
with it.

WHAT THE!? HEY GET BACK HERE! Nalla exclaimed. WEVE GOT TO GET THAT
CRYSTAL BACK! Ripp shouted. But what about the bags?! Nalla asked as she
pointed to the bags strewn all over the place. Gates of Teleportation, Open! He
bellowed. Port then waved his hand, warping away all of the bags.

*** Location Change ***

Mako was walking down a hall when he heard a noise coming from somewhere
nearby. He glanced around but couldnt see anything. He shrugged & began walking
again, when all of a sudden a barrage of bags bombarded him from above, burying
him in the pile. PORT! He roared as he popped his head out of the pile & glanced
up at the portal that had formed, which promptly closed itself.

*** Location Change ***

There, now we dont haft to worry about them, now lets go! Port called. Right!
Feel the Beat! Nalla called, transforming into Sound. The two of them then broke
into a dash. The bird flew down an ally & over a fence. Port teleported through the
fence, while Sound blasted over it using speakers built into the bottoms of her feet.

The crow then flew through a small opening in a building ahead of them. Port &
Sound stopped in front of it. Ripp, I dont like the feeling of this place I cant hear
anything Not even a single car Even though we didnt travel that far from the

street back there Sound admitted as she glanced around nervously. Once, we
get that crystal back, well head back, I promise. Port replied as he grabbed
Sounds hand & pulled her through the wall & into the building. The two formed in
the middle of a group of thugs whod been expecting the two visitors.

So you must be some of those Drones that people have been talking about so
much around town A strange man called from across the room. He was dressed
in a ragged swamp green hoodie with smoke grey pants. He wore light grey gloves
& worn-out running shoes. His hair was silver & his eyes were a chestnut brown.

The crow holding the crystal was perched by the make-shift throne the man was
sitting in. Welcome to the Onyx Crow Gangs hideout. Boys! Please! Show them the
visitors quarters. The man instructed as the men grabbed Sound & Port. Seconds
later Port & Sound threw the men across the room.

Weve fought harder things then you guys. Give us the crystal & well leave
peacefully. Port warned. You fail to realize just who you are dealing with, Ripp!
The man laughed as he pulled a lever. Suddenly a steel cage fell from above over
the two drones. You two are not in a position to make threats. He replied. As the
crow handed him the crystal. I was promised a hefty payment for your capture, as
for this crystal I think I will sell it, crystals usually sell for a high price, but this one
is bigger than any regular crystal Ive seen on the market. He explained.

We wont let you get away with this! Port replied as he attempted to phase
through the cage, only to collide with it instead. He fell to the ground as the cages
bars crackled & sizzled mysteriously. What the?! Port muttered as he glanced up
at the cages walls. RIPP! Sound yelled as she ran over to him. You are as thick as
the bars on that cage. I hope you like it, because you will be spending a lot of time
there. The man cackled.

Who put you up to this?! Port yelled. Who? Hmm, his name escapes me at the
moment. The man spat as he got up to leave. WHY ARE YOU DOING SUCH
HORRIBLE THINGS?! Sound roared. Why? For the money, of course! We arent a
very wealthy group, & when we were approached & offered a hefty sum for the
job... Well We just couldnt pass it up. He replied. And you seem to have done
your job perfectly. A familiar voice rang out, chilling Port & Sounds spines.

Omni-ominous! I should have known you were behind this! Port shouted as Omniominous walked out from the shadows. Well done, Hawk. The payment as
promised can be found in your room. Omni-ominous remarked as he snapped his
fingers. Spikes formed on the inside of the cage which then began to shrink,
drawing the spikes ever closer to its two captives.

HEY! I THOUGHT YOU SAID YOU WANTED THEM UNHARMED! The man yelled. Yes.
Because only I shall be the one to injure them. I plan to make him pay for the
humiliation Ive suffered at his hands, & take the girl as my slave. Omni-ominous
replied, a twisted grin curling across his face.

YOU LIED TO ME?! I WONT LET YOU GET AWAY WITH THIS! The man yelled angrily.
Lied is such a harsh word But yes I lied to you. So what do you plan to do
about it? He remarked with a wicked grin. The man clenched his fists angrily. I
plan to throw a big fat wrench into this plan of yours! The man replied as he slid
the crystal his bird had handed him into his pocket secretly & lunged at Omniominous.

Omni-ominous belted the man backwards into a wall, knocking him unconscious.
What a fool. I guess he can just spend the remainder of his time with the rest of
you! Omni-ominous yelled as he teleported the man into the cage with Port &
Sound, using a shadowy portal.

I will leave you all here until I am ready to transport you both to my lair. I plan to
make sure you writhe in agony so get as much sleep as you can, because once we
leave, you wont sleep ever again! And as for you, girl. I plan to take my time
breaking you bit by bit. Omni-ominous threatened before leaving the room.

Port woke the man up using some smelling salt he happened to have on him. The
man glanced at Port & Sound. This was not the kind of situation I was hoping for
The man remarked. You should never trust Omni-ominous. He is currently the
biggest liar in the world that I know of. Port explained.

So, do you still wish to fight us? Or are you going to help us? Sound asked

crossing her arms. Well since Ive already been thrown in here, I dont see many
other options. The man remarked taking out the crystal he had slid into his pocket.
You two seemed pretty interested in this crystal. What I wish to know is why? He
asked. Its a long story Port replied.

Just then the three of them heard a noise. What was that?! He asked. That would
be the cage were in, closing in around us. Its unfortunate that youre not a
drone Port remarked as the spikes drew closer & closer.

Oh? Why is that? The man asked as he, Sound, & Port backed up against each
other as the spikes drew closer. Because this is going to be unpleasant for me
Port muttered as he transformed into Warp. Sound, shield him while I take care of
this. Warp requested as he braced himself for the approaching spikes.

Sound took the man into her arms, & curled herself around him so that her armour
was between them & the spikes. As the spikes began digging into Warps armour,
he groaned in pain, causing Nalla to cringe. Once the spikes were deep enough in
his armour, Warp moved his body, tearing the spikes which were now more securely
embedded into his armour, off of the wall of the cage. He then grabbed the bars of
the cage & ripped the cage open.

RIPP! YOURE HURT! WEVE GOT TO GET YOU SOME MEDICAL TREATMENT QUICK! I
DONT WANT TO LOSE YOU AGAIN! Sound cried as she ran over to his side. That
was astounding! The man remarked in amazement.

Ripp, we need to get you back! Open a portal. Quickly, before Omni-ominous
returns! Sound urged him. Its a little too late for that! The man yelled as he
pointed to the door way, which Omni-ominous was running towards them from. I
wont let him take us! Nalla, take him & get help! Ill hold out until you arrive! Warp
yelled as he formed a portal & threw Sound & the man threw. Before they could
object, Warp was knocked out by Omni-ominous, closing the portal behind them.

RIPP!!! Sound bellowed as loud as she could, which caused Riin, Ciarra, Alice, &
Vivi to run into the room, with Riuka following close behind. What is all the racket
about?! Riuka asked as he entered the room. Whore you?! Alice asked as she
laid eyes on the stranger standing by Nalla.

Kitsuna?! The man remarked in shock, upon laying his eyes on Alice. My name is
Alice, not Kitsuna! Alice replied. RIUKA! RIPP, HE WAS CAPTURED BY OMNIOMINOUS! Sound screamed as she shattered her armour. Nalla will you please tell
us what on earth is going on?! Riuka asked in shock. We were captured by this
guy, & Omni-ominous. But when Omni-ominous back-stabbed him & threw him in
with us, we decided to bring him with us. Before he could escape, Ripp was knocked
out by Omni-ominous who said he planned on torturing Ripp and B-Breaking
Me Nalla stuttered. What is your name? Riuka asked as he turned to face the
man.

My name is Hawk, Hawk Kito. He answered. Riuka grabbed him by the collar of his
shirt. Alright, listen & listen well, Hawk. You just put one of my men in grave
danger. I will give you two options. Lead us to where he is being taken to, or I can
send you back to him in a tuna can. Riuka threatened, obviously furious.

There is no need for threats. He saved my life, I will gladly help you all rescue him.
Besides, maybe I can get some answers about what the heck Ive been pulled into,
that way. Hawk replied. Riuka nodded & gently put the man down. Riin, have any
members that are available gather as soon as possible. We cant afford to lose Ripp
a second time. Riuka commanded.

No need for that A voice remarked from behind them. Riuka turned around,
meeting the gazes of Cameron, Rauk-Shao, Phantom, Lopp, Yoko, Willson, Crystal,
Mako, Lexus, Ligus, Enchor, Suzuka, Kari, & Angel.

Rauk-Shao?! Riuka mumbled in disbelief. Its nice to see you too, Commander
Riuka. Rauk-Shao greeted, with Lopp clinging tightly to him. I thought wed lost
you for sure Riuka admitted, hanging his head. Im not easy to take down, &
even less easy to keep down. I came closer this time than ever, but luckily I had a
few people to help keep me going. He remarked with a smile.

But we are getting off topic. I believe our current focus should be on rescuing our
friend? He reminded Riuka. But how are we going to find him? We have no idea
where he went, & without Ripp, we have no way of getting there fast enough. Riin
admitted.

Thats where theyre wrong A voice called out inside Hawks head.

Huh? Who said that? Hawk asked looking around, causing everyone to give him a
look of confusion.

You must be completely clueless of what you really hold. What you thought was a
crystal, is actually a vessel that holds my spirit. The voice replied.

So mind, introducing yourself then? Hawk asked as he took the crystal out.

My name is Jayson Entoxica, drone of poison, & master of manipulation. It

answered.

I hear you are in need of a means of transportation? If you accept my contract, I

can provide you with the means to repay your debt. There is one catch. My contract
comes with a second condition that no other contract carries. If you accept the
contract, your blood will become tainted with the very poison you will be using. It
will kill you almost instantly, transforming you into an artificially-living being. It
explained.

So I wont be human anymore? Hawk asked with a tone of sorrow in his voice.

That is correct. If you wish to think the offer over, you may do so, but understand
that once you have made the pact, there is no going back. The effects will be
irreversible. It warned.

Wasting almost no time, Hawk replied to the voices offer. I accept. He answered
flatly.

Are you sure? You understand just what you are accepting, right? It clarified.

Of course, but if this allows me to repay them as well as make up for what Ive put
them through, then I will accept this burden. I will take it, & whats more, Ill show
that Omni-ominous that he should never have messed with anyone. The man
replied confidently.

Very well then. Please read the incantation inscribed on your crystal & the process
will begin. A warning though, the process will be beyond unpleasant. It cautioned
him.

Like that changes anything? He remarked with a laugh as he glanced down at the
crystal in his hand.

Taint! Hawk yelled as a blast of dark purple energy exploded forth, slamming into
everyone in the room. Hawk yelled in agony, only for it to be drowned out seconds
later as he began drowning in his own blood which had already turned to poison.

As he drowned, long slender, yet large armour plating began forming around his
body. The limbs took on a bone-like look with purple goo dripping from small
openings in various places along the armour. Slowly he reached out with a giant
skeletal hand, with needle-like finger tips.

The mechanical skeleton let out a gargled moan as if it were a zombie, its eyes
glowed an eerie dark lavender purple. All the girls screamed in horror as the drone
reached for them, its hands were easily large enough to grab them in its hands
alone. The drone was easily five times as big as any of them.

WHAT ON EARTH IS THAT THING?! Riuka yelled as he pushed the girls behind him.
Suddenly a red spirit formed beside Rauk-Shao. Jay? Jayson, is that you?! It asked
as it approached the drone. Y-Ye-s-s It answered through the toxic gunk that now
filled its throat. A friend of yours, Bruce? Rauk-Shao asked raising an eye brow.

Yes This is Jayson Entoxica Back in our world, he bore the nick name Toxic
Giant. The spirit introduced. What on earth did he do to Hawk?! Riuka asked in

an alarmed voice. Well you see Back in our world Jay, as we called him, was not
regular He was something called a Sludge-Blood. His blood was completely made
out of a special compound & he could only stay alive by periodically ingesting a
specific concoction. Judging by what we are seeing I can only assume that the
contract jay made, entailed that his host go through somewhat similar biological
modifications The spirit explained.

So is his voice going to stay like that in his drone form, or is this temporary? Mako
asked. Temporary. It will take a short time for his vocals to actually take form.
Currently all of his insides are just a jumbled mess of toxins, poisons, & other biohazardous waste. Sad to say there is nothing human in there anymore. It
answered. You cant be serious That thing has to have a human in there. Riuka
objected.

No Im afraid he speaks the truth Im No longer Human The drone

struggled to speak, a roughness still audible in his voice. Shouldnt we wait for him
to recover then? Riuka asked, concerned for their new member.

There is No time I accepted this when I spoke with my spirit I will endure
what I must. We must go Rescue your friend now. He answered back. But how?
We still dont know where he could have taken Ripp, & unless you can make portals,
I still dont see a solution in sight. Riin pointed out.

Oh but I Can do so much more then Just making mere portals I can even
make you do things You would never dream of doing. Entoxica replied. Oh yea?
Prove it! Riin yelled. Alright But just remember Youre the one who Told me
to. He replied with a smug grin as he crossed his hands over his chest. The tips of
his fingers unleashed small threads that were so thin, they couldnt be seen. He
then whipped both of his arms out, wrapping all the various strings around Riins
body. He then began controlling her like a marionette puppet.

Using his threads he forced Riin to lift up her skirt, flashing everyone in the room,
which caused Riin to scream while turning scarlet. ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT! YOUVE
MADE YOUR POINT! Riin bellowed frantically. Entoxica, satisfied with having made
his point thoroughly clear, unattached the strings wrapped around Riins limbs. Riin
fell to the ground almost instantly.

By the way Cute pair of panties there Entoxica laughed as he used his strings
to help Riin up before retracting them back into his fingers. SHUT UP! Riin
screamed furiously. My, what a temper. Entoxica remarked. Seconds later he was
blasted into the wall by a single charged shot from Shadows cannon arms.

Do anything like that to her again, & Ill make you a permanent fixture on one of
our walls! Shadow threatened. Riin glanced at Shadow with surprise. Duly noted.
He replied as he got up out of the crater left by his impact in the wall, brushing
pieces of concrete off as if it were just dust. Everyone except Rauk-Shao, & the Dark
Liger members jaws dropped when they saw just how far into the rock Entoxica had
been blasted.

You had that blast set on medium, didnt you Shadow? Riuka asked in a whisper
as he leaned over. Only quarter, but close enough Shadow responded in a
mutual volume. Anyways As I was mentioning earlier, I can solve both of the
problems. You see, I had one of my men track down that Omni-ominous to where he
was hiding, so I know where he is taking your friend. And now with this drone power,
I can also take us there Entoxica explained.

One of your men? Who exactly are you? Lexus asked, raising an eye brow. My
name as I said before, is Hawk Kito, but in the slums, Im better known as King
Kaiser of the Onyx Crow Gang. He admitted.

Kaiser?! Riuka repeated in disbelief. Is Hawk your real name? Riuka asked with
an odd tone of suspicion. Why would you ask? Entoxica asked raising an
eyebrow. Because we have a file on the Kito family They have a deep
History With this academy And there is no record of a Hawk Kito in the blood
line. Rauk-Shao admitted, crossing his arms, & giving Hawk an accusing stare.

This is not a time to answer that. Right now, your friend needs to be rescued, & it
has been prolonged for long enough. Entoxica replied as he raised his claw,
creating an arch of dripping sludge that transformed into a portal.

Mind the goo Its not easy to get out of your clothes He warned as he led the

group in. Before entering the portal, all the people not already in drone form called
upon their armour. As the group stepped into a large cavern, they looked around.
Their new location looked deserted & no sound could be heard.

Nothing seems out of place here. Breaker remarked flatly. No There is one thing
here that is vitally the same. Entoxica corrected. You can tell, too, Cant you? He
asked as he glanced over at Sound who gave a nod. There is no sound what so
ever. She replied. Isnt that normal when no one is around? Techno asked.

Sound shook her head & pointed to a small waterfall nearby. Even the natural
sounds that should be here, are not. She noted. Sure enough the water made no
sound at all when it reached the bottom of the fall.

What the? How is that even possible? Techno asked in confusion. I think I
have a theory. But to test it, I want you all to try using your powers Heat advised.
Moisture tried to summon her swords, but was shocked to find the water did not
form. Shadow attempted to blend within the shadows, but failed. Each drone, tried
accessing their abilities & using their skills or weapons, but each one failed.

What gives?! Shadow roared angrily. I think I understand now It was the same
back when I captured your two members Inside the cage, all their abilities were
completely nullified. Entoxica admitted. Exactly Im afraid to say Weve just
made a grave mistake Ladies & gentlemen, weve just walked into a trap Heat
announced.

Almost as if on cue, spotlights switched on, focusing in on the group. Brilliant

deduction Albeit, a little late. Omni-ominous chided from in front of the group. On
a nearby wall, Warp had been nailed to the wall, with large silver spikes having been
plunged through his armour.

Sound screamed at the sight. I hope you like my design of decoration, because I
plan on having you all join him. Omni-ominous replied as he summoned hordes of
Alter-world monsters. What are we going to do?! Origami yelled, glancing around
frantically.

We fight Chimera bellowed as she knocked three monsters back in one swing
with her sword arm. Ciarra is right, we still have some of our weapons, even if none
of our powers work Heat agreed as he swung his axe into another of the
monsters. All of you might want to stand back Entoxica warned as his eyes
began glowing even brighter than before. The group reluctantly complied. Entoxica
formed a ball of sludge in his palm which he tossed in the air. Moments later it
exploded into a storm of needles which bombarded all the enemies surrounding
them.

HOW DID YOU? Omni-ominous bellowed. Entoxica glanced at him out of the
corner of his eye. All of my powers are completely biological In other words
They arent affected by your little toy, which only cancels abilities granted by
transforming into a drone. Entoxica spat. Omni-ominous panicked upon hearing
this new development. He raced to get away as fast as he could, only to trip on a
wire.

Glancing down, he followed the thread hed tripped on, & realized it was connected
to Entoxicas finger-tips. Gotchya! He remarked smugly as he pulled Omniominous towards him. As Omni-ominous drew closer, spikes jetted out of Entoxicas
chest. Before Omni-ominous was skewered by Entoxica, however, the threads were
cut by a dark energy blade. The group turned around but their mouths dropped
wide open when they realized Junk had severed the threads.

Teller what on earth are you-? Sound began, only to be cut off by the laughter of
Omni-ominous. It looks like hes finally given in. Im afraid your friend is no longer
playing on your team. He cackled. What is he talking about Teller? Fade asked,
only for him to lunge at them.

Upon further examination, Junks form seemed different. He bore cobra-like

markings along his face & neck, which also resembled a cobras. He also had two
long bat-like wings, with junk frames. His body was now a dark grey while his eyes
were red with purple irises. His armour was now made out of scales, with a spike
protruding from each piece.

Trash Kill! He growled as he slashed at them with his large claw, barely
missing Sound who jumped back instinctively. TELLER STOP! WHAT HAS GOTTEN
INTO YOU?! Breaker yelled, only to be knocked into the wall by the now-corrupted

Junks tail. Ill explain since you all obviously dont understand. Your friend was sick
of feeling helpless due to being unable to save your friend. So we offered to teach
him how to control the dark drone that lay with in him. We gave him a crystal that
only sped up the process of that dark sides awakening. Say hello to the dark drone,
Trash, & good-bye to the one you all once called Junk. Omni-ominous stated as
Trash slammed his claw into the ground.

Fracture Impact He growled as he pulled up a large piece of rock with a single

heave & threw it at the group. As everyone braced for the impact, they were blown
back when the large chunk of rock unexpectedly blew up. Trash had planted a fire
bomb inside it secretly before throwing it, which he used to blow it apart remotely.

We need to retreat Heat called out as they all recovered from the blast. WHAT
ABOUT TELLER?! WE CANT SIMPLY LEAVE HIM! Origami bellowed. Right now, we
are at a disadvantage There is no hope of us winning in a situation like this. Hawk,
grab Ripp & get us out of here. Heat ordered.

Entoxica launched a mass of strings, which sliced the rock clean off. He then used
the same strings to wrap around the large slab, which he then pulled into his large
claw. Using his other claw, he opened a gateway. The group fled through the portal
as Trash threw another large chunk of rock at them.

With only seconds to spare, Entoxica managed to spit a large glob of acid at the
rock, which melted all the fragments before they could cause the group any harm.
As Trash lunged at them again, the group departed through the portal, closing it just
in time to prevent Trash from following them.

All the girls collapsed almost immediately from over-exhaustion, their armour
shattering almost immediately. Heat walked over to a near-by intercom, & pressed a
few buttons. Within a few seconds, a voice answered through it.

Genetics department, Head of Genetic Development, Janelle Whimsi-cott, here!

The voice answered. Janelle, this is Rauk-Shao speaking. I need you to come down

Hold on Mrs. Hellen? Metallics remarked in confusion. Yes. Mrs. Hellen, like
Rala, is a drone member who works under the guise of a teacher at the school.
Unlike Rala, though, she is perfect at maintaining the secret. Heat admitted.

Wait, so why has Abra been with her this whole time? Metallics asked, even more
perplexed then before. Abra had gone looking for Teller outside the academy,
despite being asked to remain here. That is when I had Mrs. Hellen bring her back
here. Shortly after giving her the order, Nalla & Hawk arrived & the rest is history.

Riuka, help me move the girls to a proper resting place. He added as he carried an
unconscious Lopp in his arms. You know we are here, too! Shadow replied as he
picked Riin up carefully. Metallics lifted Yoko into his arms, while Phantom carried
Crystals unconscious drone form over to where the other girls were being placed.

have a human form to return to, so it only makes sense she would maintain her
form, right? Time asked as he gently laid Kari down as well.

Naturally. Techno replied as he carefully placed Alice on a bed as well, while a

little robot that Techno had spawned placed Suzukas body nearby, before leaping at
Techno who then absorbed the small robot back into his body. Okay, they are all
moved now, Rauk-Shao. Enchor announced as he placed Ciarra along with the rest
of them.

What do we do now? Entoxica asked as he ripped the large block that Ripp had

been pinned to in half. We wait for Janelle, Abra, & Mrs. Hellen to arrive. Magic
instructed as he sat down near the girls. He clapped his hands as a wall formed in
front of the small alcove the girls had been placed in, cutting off all intrusions.

Once they arrive, I will lower the wall, but for now the girls should be kept inside
this barrier. He added. Well I hope we dont haft to wait long Shadow replied as
he shattered his armour. You need not wait at all Mrs. Hellen announced as she
entered the room. Her waist-long silky smooth cinnamon-coloured hair, had been
done up into a long pony tail. She wore a white T-shirt with a red jacket & a pair of
blue jeans. She glanced around the room through her glasses, her light-blue eyes
studying their surroundings. I thought Teller would be with you all She remarked
as she put a hand on her hip.

Thats the thing Teller Well He isnt quite himself to put it lightly. Rauk-Shao
sighed awkwardly. What happened to my Teller? Abra asked as she entered
the room, joining Mrs. Hellen. It was then that Abra noticed all of her friends
conditions. WHAT ON EARTH HAPPENED TO YOU ALL?! She yelled. Teller Teller
happened to us Mako replied bluntly. THERE IS NO WAY TELLER WOULD DO
SOMETHING LIKE THIS! Abra objected.

I wish I could agree with you, Abra But Teller isnt himself anymore He has been
taken over by the dark drone that now lives within him He now works under Omniominous The proof of my words lies all around you. Your friends conditions were
caused by the monstrosity that Teller has become Rauk-Shao explained. I take it
this is why you called me in? A young lady remarked as she also entered the room.

The girl had snow-white curly hair while her eyes were a hot-pink colour. She was
wearing a long white lab coat with a black shirt underneath it. She wore shorts as
well as white gloves & long black leather boots. She glanced at Rauk-Shao through
her round thin-frame glasses.

Ah, Janelle! Youve arrived at just the right time as usual. Rauk-Shao admitted.
Well, considering you dont often call my office directly often, I knew the occasion
had to be important. She replied with a casual shrug.

Teller has transformed into a monstrosity that goes by the name trash, we think it

is a dark drone, but Omni-ominous mentioned something about a crystal that he

gave him that sped up his transformation. I assume its still in his room. Id like you
to do some research on it if it is indeed still there. We also will need to research
various other things, such as a way to bypass that device Omni-ominous used
against us & how to return Teller to his senses. I also wish to have the people in this
room taken care of. They have been through a battle that almost none of us made it
out of alive. Rauk-Shao commanded.

Abra fell to her knees in disbelief at what she was hearing. As she reached up to her
neck to put her hand on the choker that had Tellers name on it, the crack that had
formed earlier suddenly grew so big that the whole choker shattered. The pieces
seemed to fall in slow motion to Abra, who watched them fall as if she was watching
her own heart being pierced.

Tears began forming her eyes which shrunk to the point where her pupils were
barely visible. Abra let out a shriek so loud that it shattered Ralas barrier. Everyone
had to plug their ears just to keep themselves from going deaf. Abras shriek
seemed near endlessly, only ceasing when Mako managed to knock her out with a
hard kick to her head. The group relaxed but hurried over to Abra. I wish there was
another way to stop her from blowing our ear drums Mako admitted as he hung
his head in shame.

You did what was needed, Mako. Dont beat yourself up over it. Lexus pointed out.
I refuse to believe there wasnt another solution that could have been taken But I
guess it was the only obvious one He replied, still unsure of his actions. You
didnt seem to cause much damage to her. She just has a small bruise, thats all.
Rauk-Shao reported as he lifted her up, & carried her over to where the other girls
were.

We should also keep Ripp with them. He is just in as bad a shape as they are, so he
is better off being protected along with them until they all can recover. Rala
advised. Rauk-Shao nodded his approval & Riuka & Ligus carefully moved Ripps
body over to the small alcove that was now fully packed. For now we should all get
some sleep. Weve been through a lot & we all deserve a rest. Hawk, you may stay
with me in my room for tonight, & tomorrow we will get you set up in your own
room, here at the academy. Rauk-Shao declared.

what? Hawk asked, his curiosity having been aroused. Like a sister He

Alice Kitsuna? Well I never told anyone except Rala & Riuka this but Alice isnt
her actual name. Her real name is in fact, Kitsuna Kito. After she was recovered in a
raid of testing facilities belonging to Ripps parents, we decided to rename her Alice
Dwinderlonan to keep her survival of the raid a secret. That kept her from being
tracked & taken back by them. Rauk-Shao admitted.

Wait Ripps parents? YOU MEAN THEY WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALICES
SUFFERING?! Lexus yelled. Ripp is quite different from his parents, who
experimented on many innocent strangers for various experiment that could be
easily considered inhumane. Unfortunately, Kitsuna Kito was one of the unfortunate
victims of their experiments. It is unknown how they disappeared or why All that
is known is that Ripp was the last one to see them alive, & could very well be the
only one who even knows the details behind their disappearance.

asked in disbelief, causing everyone to glance over at the cots. Alice was laying up
in hers. No. Although you may not remember it, we did tell you that we had to
change your name to keep you safe. Although you used to be called Kitsuna, we had
your name legally changed to what you know yourself as, now. Rauk-Shao
admitted.

So Then she really is My little sister? Hawk asked as he became teary eyed.

I want to know the whole story I want to know how I came to end up in that
facility you rescued me from. Alice announced. It started when we were little. You
& I lived on the streets together foraging for what we could to survive One day
while we were walking through the streets You suddenly vanished. I looked &
looked but no matter where I looked I couldnt find you or where you had gone. I
never found out what had happened to you Until now Hawk explained.

There was a record on her when we raided the laboratory. She had been grabbed

when you were looking away. She was then brought to the laboratory where they
conducted experiment after experiment on her. They gave her little sleep & little
food. What food they did give her was not even what could be considered proper
food. They mostly gave her bones to gnaw on. Its a wonder she survived for as
long as she did. Rauk-Shao informed them. I need time to digest all this
information. I just cant handle all of this at once! She yelled as a massive mirror
formed in the room. The mirror was different from her usual mirrors, it had a dark
twisted design all around it, with red glowing eyes at the top.

NOT THIS ONE AGAIN! Enchor yelled in fear. WHAT IS GOING ON ENCHOR?!
Rauk-Shao yelled. SHE IS SUMMONING BERMETHUS, ITS ONE OF THE ONLY
MONSTERS I CANT EVEN COPY ALL OF THE POWER OF. ITS POWER IS JUST TOO
OVER-WHELMING. He yelled. Slowly a massive claw reached out of the mirror &
slammed in the middle of the room, it was so big it broke through the floor.
BERMETHUS IS TOO BIG TO RELEASE IN HERE, HE WILL DEMOLISH FIVE WHOLE
FLOORS IF ALICE HAS HIM COME OUT OF THERE!! He yelled as they backed away.

ALICE YOUVE GOT TO CALL THAT THING BACK, WELL LEAVE YOU ALONE! JUST
DONT SUMMON BERMETHUS! Enchor yelled desperately. Alice nodded & whistled
as loud as she could. To everyones relief the claw paused, before slowly retracting
back into the mirror, which slowly faded away.

Alright. Now its your turn to keep your promise please leave the room for the
night Alice requested. Rauk-Shao nodded as he signalled everyone to leave the
room. One by one everyone began leaving the room. Unbeknownst to them all, Alice
formed a thin framed translucent mirror in the doorway. One by one each person
passed through it, with Hawk being the last one in the room. As he passed through
mirror, he found himself reversing direction. He looked around confused as he reentered the room he thought he had just left.

I Wanted to get to know the person who I just found out Im still related to If
thats alright with you Alice explained as she glanced down tearfully. Hawk
closed & nodded as he too began crying. As he opened his eyes back up, making no
attempt to hide his tears, he gave her a smile. Where would you like me to
begin? He asked as he walked over, & sat down beside her.

What happened to our parents? She asked as she looked up at him. He glanced

into her eyes, & could see how she felt. It was like looking into a soul that had lost
its way, & didnt know which way to turn or where to look to for directions. It was
like she had lost all sense of identity.

Our mother died giving birth to you Our dad He was not a nice man Once our
mom was gone, he didnt want anything to do with us. Once he casted us away, I
did all I could to make sure you had all you could want But it seems that RaukShao guy has done that a lot better than I could ever hope to. Hawk answered.

Youre wrong Sure he gave me a place to live, & friends who I could pretend were
family But it never could replace the real thing All I ever wanted was parents
who would hold me & tell me they loved me No matter how close the people get
to me here They would never do that unless asked them. Parents do it without
anyone asking them to. Alice admitted.

Is that so Lexus remarked out loud from behind the two. As Alice turned around,
Lexus took her into his arms, hugging her tenderly. I may not be a family member
to you But everyone wants to be loved & if no one ever bothered to show you
that you are loved, I wanted to be the first. He explained. Alices eyes widened as
she heard Lexuss words.

I also have something to share with you... Riuka had approached us before we had
started studying your group & asked who we would take care of out of your group if
we had the choice. Each of Riukas main men, myself included, stated a different
member each. He admitted.

Our choices that night, were subsequently what formed the basis for who wed
been selected to study specifically. Mako had selected Riin as the one who he
wanted to take care of, & so Riuka had him study Riin, Enchor wanted Ciarra looked
after. Ligus had originally chosen Nalla, Riuka had already been looking after Vivi,
but I was the one who wanted you To be honest I never had an easy time with
my feelings But Alice I have always loved you From the moment I met
you Lexus confessed as held onto Alice tighter.

Alice cried, too choked up to reply. Lexus gently held the back of her head, & gently
guided it down, letting her cry into his shoulder, which she did. Hawk smiled quietly.

Ill leave you two alone. It looks like right now is a very special moment for the
both of you. Hawk announced as he walked out of the room, leaving the two alone.

you Lexus repeated. I Love you Too. Alice sniffled, struggling to speak
coherently through her tears. I talked with my spirit, & we agreed that we wish to
form a special pact with you, Lark Glass, & Lark Mirror. He announced. Suddenly
two pale blue spirits appeared beside Alice. So You knew we both resided inside
her, after all? One of them replied.

Naturally From what he told me, you both were always together in your realm.
After all you were classified as a dual drone. That means that you both were made
as a pair, there is no way you could exist separately. Lexus answered. Just how
long have you known? Alice asked as she hung her head. For a few years now.
Lexus answered. But my request still stands I am aware that you both are also
male spirits But being the spirits of the girl I love I beg you please accept!
Lexus pleaded.

The two spirits paused, obviously embarrassed by the request, when suddenly
Technos spirit also formed. I know you both are not looking to get hitched to a
guy Im not crazy about the idea either But Im doing this for my partner So I
hope you both will also think of it in that way, & accept. Techno added.

Both of the spirits glanced at Techno. Do you want to accept the pact with him?
The two spirits asked, turning their attention to Alice. Alice paused, closing her eyes
& giving the idea some thought. Yes I do. Alice replied, beginning to blush
slightly. Do you know what that will entail? They asked. No Alice replied as
she looked at them in confusion.

To seal the pact between you two, it will require a kiss. This pact is similar to what
is called marriage in your world. They explained, causing Alice to blush scarlet,
becoming noticeably flustered. K-K-Kiss?! She stammered. Yes. It shouldnt be
any problem if you both truly love each other. They added. But Ive never
kissed a boy before Alice admitted as she tensed up. Truth be told, Ive never
kissed another girl, myself. Lexus admitted calmly. So We both would be each
others firsts? Alice asked. Thats right. There is nothing to be nervous about, I
love you, so Im willing to wait until youve truly made up your mind. I dont want to

force you into this if you are unsure. He replied.

Alice glanced down at her feet. Glass I want you to activate your drone form
please I want Lexus to be the only one to see it Alice requested, hiding her face
from him. The spirit on her left glanced over at her. Are you sure? It asked. Yes
She answered. Alright Mirror, lets do it! He replied to the other spirit who
nodded. The two flew back into Alice who then tensed up. Peer Through the
Looking Glass She chanted quietly as a blue aura surrounded her.

Slender glass armour formed around her. It seemed to move almost like fabric more
than glass as it took the form of a gown. The gloves seemed slender while a tiara
formed over the top of her head, the armour around her head was very small, only
forming a crescent head set around the back of her head which materialized
underneath her hair. Her clothes seemed to vanish from underneath, her body
slightly visible underneath the stain-glass-like armour. Her feet were now fitted with
glass slippers like those that Cinderella was said to wear.

Alice blushed deeply as her transformation finished. Wow It looks less like a
drown form & more like an outfit Lexus noted. Its too revealing for combat, plus
it basically is just an outfit It has very little abilities She admitted. So in this
form are you Glass or are you still Alice? Lexus asked. She shook her head.
Despite its looks, this is still a drone transformation, so my name is indeed that of
the drone, Glass. Glass answered.

Now Transform yourself Glass asked bashfully. I dont know why, but if that is
what you want I have no qualms with doing so. Activate! Lexus called as he & his
spirit merged. Upon finishing his transformation, Techno was surprised to find Glass
was no longer in front of him. As Techno turned around, he found himself taken by
surprise as Glass kissed him on the lips. As she drew back she whispered
passionately in Technos ear. I, Alice Dwinderlonan, Accept you, Lexus Quellos, as
my one & only, true love. She whispered.

Techno nodded before responding. Im glad He admitted before they locked lips
yet again. The chokers formed around their necks while they savoured the moment.
I dont want you ever to leave me She admitted as they both shattered their
armour. I wont & tonight Ill prove it Lexus replied as he undressed himself &
Alice before pulling the blankets over them. Are you sure This is alright? What if

I get pregnant? Alice asked as she blushed under Lexus.

If you do I will take responsibility for it as a man would & should. He promised as
he held her close. Alice closed her eyes, completely content with his answer as she
readied herself. As he began, she let out a scream, which Lexus muffled by kissing
her on the lips. Slowly she settled down. The two continued for two hours, before
giving into exhaustion, content in each others arms, as they drifted off into sleep.
