Why use technology in your classroom?

Helps students stay actively engaged at their own pace

It prepares students for the real world

A way to reach diversity in learning styles

It can encourage collaboration

Students are excited to use technology so more apt to learn

Technology helps make teaching and learning more meaningful and fun.

Managing Group Activities

Planning-start with small activities then move into bigger ones

Keep in mind how you are going to manage every aspect of the activities

Assign student roles/jobs with expectations

Give the students checklists or rubrics on the assignments

Students need to be allowed to communicate and share
