Do you receive any weather information from other sources? If so, what kind
of information is it? From where do you get this information? Can you
indicate procurement cost?

Do you employ meteorologists exclusively for weather service?

How many persons are involved?

Condition of weather related risks

How many flight cancellations were caused by severe weather in the past few
years? (Location and weather phenomena type)

How many diversions were caused by change in weather conditions in the

past few years? (Location and weather phenomena type)

How many accidents were caused by turbulences in the past few years?
(Location and number of times)

In these mentioned cases, would you think/say that you may have been able
to avoid/prevent these consequences if you were provided with accurate
weather information?

Status of ETOPS*

On which route does the ETOPS taking place? On how many flights a day?

Weather information is required along ETOPS route. How do you deal with
this presently? If the information is insufficient, are you currently working on
a solution plan?
*ETOPS = Extended-range twin-engine operations

Do you use your own flight plan or do you obtain it from elsewhere?

Do you think you could coordinate a faster and more secured route if the
wind forecasts precisions of flight plans can be highly improved?
