Citizenship Essay
There are a lot of people changes their citizens because if foreigner comes to
other country to work, they can work in the other country but has a lot of qualification
and have to pay a lot of taxes than native people who works on their country. Also
for the foreigners there are only few works or jobs that are allowed in the country
to work. Many foreigner people borrow native people names to set their own
work, but there are still lots of consequences and not that safe, so some foreign
people just change their citizenship to work more confortable, safe, and gain
more profits. Changing citizenships are occurring in real life as well. But not only
because of working in outside of country, Korean people change their citizens
because they like other country more and they want to live in out side country.
Also some man changed their citizenship because they dont want to go to
military. Every Korean man in Korea must attend to military, if not they will go to
prison. There are lots of men who dont want to go to military so they changed
their citizenship to other country to avoid military. There are also some women
or men changes their citizenship because they got married to the foreign people
and change their citizenship to their husband or wifes citizenship.
The person that I interviewed is my uncle. He is Korean but he changes
his citizenship to Indonesian 2 years ago. He changed his citizenship because
we wanted to work in Indonesia as a businessman. His work is making a bed,

sofa, and sponges. In Indonesia it is not allowed for foreigners doing their own
job, many foreign people borrow Indonesian people named make their own job.
But even though they borrow name it is not conformable and difficult to keep it
safe, so my uncle just changed his citizenship as Indonesia people so he could
work more comfortably, safe, and also for his family because his family will live
in Indonesia for a long time.
Changing citizenships are occurring in real life as well in Korea like my
uncle. But not only because of working in outside of country, Korean people
change their citizens because they like other country more and they want to live
in out side country. Also some man changed their citizenship because they dont
want to go to military. Every Korean man in Korea must attend to military, if not
they will go to prison. There are lots of men who dont want to go to military so
they changed their citizenship to other country to avoid military. There are also
some women or men changes their citizenship because they got married to the
foreign people and change their citizenship to their husband or wifes
citizenship.
By changing their citizenship there are some benefits and non-benefits.
The benefits are of foreign people change their citizenship they could work in
the country they will work regally, safe, and didnt have to pay more taxes. Also if
they do some crime they could protect by the Indonesian citizenship. They also
they could participate in voting the president for Indonesia. If people change
their citizenship they didnt have opportunities that they are Korean, because
they change their citizen as Indonesia. So even though he or she is Korean they
cant get any profit or benefit from Korea.

In conclusion, changing citizenship may change their life better to work in
other county or gain benefits, but also there are some non-benefits because
even though they are Korean people and change their citizenship in Indonesia,
they didnt get any benefits from Korea even though they have problems.
