Chemmen thoran

Grind together cocunut(handful),small onion(5big),green chilli(2) and keep


aside.In a pan , splutter mustards , red chilly and small onions(5 big),and saute .
After that sort ginger(1small piece chopped),red chilli powder(half spoon),
crushed pepper(1 tbspoon),salt and saute till the raw smell goes off. Now put
the prawns and cocunut paste already made,and 1 small piece of
cocum(tamarind) and saute and keep it closed for 10-15 min for the prawns to
cook. Take out the lid and just saute for 1 min until cook.

Dum biriyani
First marinate the chicken pieces with 1 cup curd,5-6 green chilli crushed,handful
of pudina and corriander leaves crushed,salt,crushed ginger,garlic,pepper1 tbs
turmeric,paste of kashkash(optional) and keep aside for half an hour.
Make the basmati rice as usual,first saute spices in 2 tbs ghee and then rice and
add sufficient amount of boiled water,and cookthe rice .keep aside
For grevy n chicken.First saute 4 big onions in 3 tbs ghee and then 1tbs biriyani
masal(optional),1 big tomatoe,corriander leaves then to it add the marinated
chicken and close the lid till chicken s cook.
In another pan, just fry onion , chashew nut , raisains and keep aside
Now make layer of rice,thn gravy and fried onion , cashewnut,raisains.thn
sprinkle corriander leaves and bit garam masala powder.likewise make 3 layers
and dum it in slow fire.
