To our honorable member of the Board, Engr.

Francisco Arellano
To the officers and members of PICHE,
To my fellow chemical engineers,
Ladies and gentlemen, good evening
To be honest, before the exam, I was really praying to God that I'll be included in the
top 10.
However, when I saw the test questions, I said, Lord, all I want is to pass. Nothing
more. Coz I don't wanna do it again.
That feeling when you only have few hours left, and you start counting how many
sure answers do you have, and then you realize, "Lord, parang di aabot ng 50 to."
Then yung feeling na, you ask your friends after the exam, kung ano yung sagot
nila, tapos oh no, ba't iba yung sagot ko.
My friends have witnessed how worried I was while waiting for the results. And so
when I saw my name on the list, I was very surprised. I can't believe it. If this is a
dream, I don't wanna wake up anymore. So I am very thankful to God for that
miracle. This achievement is not mine, it's all for God's glory.
Moving on, now that we are already registered chemical engineers, we are entitled
to a greater responsibility, the actual practice of our profession.
Let us prove to the world that we are not only good at solving triple-effect
evaporators, or doing hard-core calculations in thermodynamics, but more
importantly, let us prove that we are responsible, that we know how to manage
people, that we have leadership skills, that we can communicate effectively with our
workmates, and we have commitment to excellence so that we will become a great
asset to the company that we will be working with.
Again, congratulations fellow chemical engineers, may God bless us all.
