PROJECTS

Hybrid Rocket Motor

Worked on a team to simulate, build, and test a hybrid rocket motor

Used SolidWorks to draw up schematics for the fuel grain and nozzle and then used said
diagrams to machine the parts in the product realization laboratory

Successfully constructed parts to use in three test firings from which data on the impulse could
be gleaned

Mechatronics Final Shooting Robot

Constructed a robot that, when prompted, would simulate the shooting of a basketball

Sketched designs for the robot and then constructed to predetermined specifications

Constructed the necessary electrical components and then programmed, using the Arduino Uno,
to ensure the robot did as was instructed.

Lid Opening Assistive Device

Designed, constructed, and tested an assistive tool to enable those with varying degrees of
arthritis to open lids of differing sizes.

05/2014 to 06/2014

03/2015 to 04/2015

04/2014 to 06/2014

Utilized the use of a mill, lathe, and 3D printer.

6-Speed Rear Wheel Drive Transmission Electro-Hydraulic Communications Module

Overseeing design changes to components in the transmission control system.

Overseeing the classification and testing of failed components.

Maintaining constant communication with suppliers, addressing any and all concerns regarding
design and production.
