LIP SYNC BATTLE

Main Event

OBJECTIVE
This contest aims to develop the talents of ChE students in lip-syncing.
ELIGIBILITY OF PARTICIPANTS

Must be ChE student/s enrolled this Second Semester A.Y 2015 2016.

MECHANICS
Participants

Participants can join by solo or group.

Participants will perform as an impersonator of a musical idol by lip-syncing a
song from the chosen artist.

Performance

The performance may be consist of:

o Lip-syncing*
o Dance number
o Drama Act
o Other artistic acts.
*Required

The performance must not display any form of violence, malice, vulgarity and
obscenity. Participants to employ any of these repulsive acts shall be
DISQUALIFIED from the entirety of the contest.

Music Material
The music materials to be used during the performance must be provided by
the participants.
The number of original artists from the selected music material must be the
same with the number of participants.
For example:
If your group chooses to perform Bang Bang by Nicki Minaj, Ariana
Grande and Jessie J, then your group must consist of at least three (3)
members.
VTR Presentation
Before the participants present their prepared performances, a VTR
presentation will be shown to the audience.
VTR Presentation will be provided by the participants.
VTR Presentation may consist of:
o Statements from the participants.
o Short clips of the practice as a preview/teaser for performance.
VTR Presentation must not mention any clue of the CHOSEN IDOL/BAND to be
impersonated in order not to spoil the excitement of the viewers.

The length of the VTR presentation must be between 1 2 minutes only.

VTR Presentation must be submitted on MONDAY, January 18, 2016. Submit
this personally or through e-mail aibbycatalan@gmail.com.

Calling all music lovers out there, now is your chance to imitate your favorite music artist/band.
Our upcoming General Assembly (Wednesday, January 13, 2016) will be having a major event
entitled LIP SYNC BATTLE.
This contest is similar to Your Face Sounds Familiar but voice is not included. Here, you will lipsync a song while you copy your chosen idols appearance, facial expressions, movements, etc.
Each year level is required to participate, by solo or group. Cash prize awaits the winner.
