Day to Not Take a
Selfie

Introduction
This project started off with a
question pulled out of a hat: The
Best Time of Day To [blank]. The
task was to fill In that blank.

After plenty of discussion and

consideration on the matter, the
conclusion
was
towards
an
infographic project on the nature of
the selfie a style of photography
where the photographer includes
their face within the picture, the
photographic equivalent of a selfportrait.

Influences

Storyboard
The storyboard went though a
couple of modifications during
development.
The
provided
storyboard is close to the final idea
but like with many developments,
there were a few changes that were
made for various reasons.

The most drastic change was in
pace and transition. At first it was
considered linking together into a
single narrative, however this is not
how an infographic is normally
designed and so the pace was
changed into something closer to a
list

Environments were kept relatively
simple and clear. In line with the
simple designs for the characters.

Selfies
The end was accompanied by a set
of images. As the project is about
selfies, it appeared appropriate to
include examples of the titular
photographic
technique
somewhere within the project.
