Phonics Reader Fan Children need to read to someone every night

The adult must sign and date the front of the book Thank You
Letter of the week: Each students please bring in 3 pictures of people,
animals, places, or things that begin with Q. Due on Wednesday
Words to Know:

High Frequency Words: a, here, is,

Rainbow words Every Thursday I will have children read words from
the rainbow word list as children pass each list they will be given a
new list (color) to practice from all students will start with the Red
List (red paper attach) make flashcards and have children practice at
home daily. Create fun ways to read words. These words do not
include the above words to know.

Religion We Believe ASH Wednesday and Lent.

Students will be focusing on the Season of Lent. We will learn how we
can love others, be peacemakers, follow Jesus example, and make a
promise to God by making right choices. We will also focus on prayer
and praying for ourselves and others.

For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was
buried.
On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he
ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom
will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from
the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken
through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one
baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.

Ash Wednesday Mass @ 8am on Wednesday, Feb 10 all are
welcome to join
Lil Knight Info going home this week after school arts and craft
club from Kinder 3rd. Club begins in March Held on Thursdays
Valentines Party this Friday, Feb 12 If you are interested in
bringing treats (food) please see me to sign up. A list with all
students names went home last week with information about our
Valentines Celebration
No School Monday Presidents Day
WASC Visit Next Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday WASC is a 3
day visit by other principals and teachers who visit the school to see
that we are teaching up to archdiocese standards and expectations.
Visiting committee will be in out of all classrooms observing
teachers and students.
