Split students into 2 or 4 even groups.
- Have each group stand down opposite ends of the hall with 4 red balls placed in the middle of the
hall.
- When whistle is blown, students to run and collect a ball.
- Students throw the ball at students on the opposite team
- Balls must hit people below their waste. Any throw that travels above waste height or hits people
above waste height means the thrower is out, not the person they hit. (Modified Rule)
- The aim is for students to not get hit by dodging the ball, but also to catch the ball to get their
teammates in.
- If a player gets hit below the waste, they are to stand to the side of the game and are out of play
until a teammate either catches the ball or after 2 minutes passes, where they can re-enter the
game.
- Students can catch the ball on the full or with one handed only after the ball bounces once only
(Modified Rule)
- The game ends when one team has no students playing the game as they are all out.

The Dodge Ball - The red ball is classified a normal ball in the game. If hit below the waste by
the red ball, a player is out of play. When a teammate catches the red ball, the next player
waiting re-enters the game.

The Freeze Ball - The blue ball has the ability to stop the game. If Team A throws the blue ball
and it hits somebody below the waste on Team B, both teams must freeze. Standing on the
spot, Team A then get to roll any balls they have in their hands at Team B. The players on Team
B must stay frozen. If a player from Team B is hit by the rolling ball, or if they move, they are
out of play until they are able to re-enter the game. Alternately, if a player catches the ball, the
team who caught the ball gets to roll their balls at their opposing team.

The Death Ball The yellow death ball is by far your worst enemy. Beware of this ball. When
a player is hit by the yellow ball, they remain the only person active from their team within the
game. For example, say Team A has 8 players active and Team B have 10 players active. A
member of Team A gets hit by the yellow ball, meaning the person hit is the only person left
on court for Team A. Giving Team B a 10 player to 1 advantage.

The Ball of Life This ball is your best friend. It is a saviour. Anyone who catches the green ball
gets their whole team back into the game. Meaning, anyone on their team who is out of play
gets to automatically come back in. This can be a game changer when caught when a high
number of your players are off court.
