To Whom It May Concern

Good Morning:
Many times, almost too frequently to count, I have been asked to provide a letter of
reference for both former students as well as former football players at the Essex
District High School. It is a task with which I take great pleasure and this time the
interest is exponentially greater. Occasionally, it is somewhat difficult to deal in
superlatives when referencing the person in question. Not on this occasion. I cannot
conceive of another individual who merits the special praise which is reflected in this
young lady.
It simply does not get any better than Jordyn Mills. Intelligent, resourceful, personable,
diligent, responsible, caring, devoted are among the words employed to best describe
Jordyn. Quite candidly, there are few young people who are as impressive as is Jordyn.
Not only is she preparing to graduate from the University of Windsor this June with a
degree in Concurrent Education and one in Honours French, Jordyn has already made
good use of her educational background as an Academic Liason with the Lancer
football program. This along with being a student manager with the team. Jordyn has
also been involved as a tutor for young people from the primary grades through the high
school years. Jordyn is currently employed by the Community Living Program in the
Town of Essex which supports persons of all ages with intellectual disabilities. She also
works as a part-time worker at the Windsor Chrysler plant in the TPT (Temporary PartTime) capacity.
The role Jordyn fulfills with the Lancer football program during the season includes
completing paperwork as required by the Head Coach and the organization of team
information during the season. As the academic liason to the players, Jordyn helps to
plan their schedules and teaches them how to implement their skills for success in the
classroom with a strong emphasis on time-management. That Jordyn is fluently
bilingual is truly a plus when interacting with players who originate from the Province of
Quebec. Jordyn also makes time to be on the sideline for each game should her
assistance be required by the coaches and players in any capacity. Jordyn greets each
situation with a positive enthusiasm enjoyed by few with such important responsibilities.
Her work ethic is uparalleled.

The Essex Raven Football Club (OVFL) has also benefitted from Jordyn's expertise
both during the season and throughout the year. Whether it be paperwork, the training
period, or the on-field activities during practices and games, Jordyn has been
omnipresent. The coaching staff sends out a call for Jordyn at any time a potential
crisis is building. Whatever the situation, Jordyn is in complete personal control.
Without any reservation whatsoever, I highly recommend Jordyn for a position with an
outstanding --football program such as the one at this university. The addition of Jordyn
to your staff would be on par with receiving the commitment of a most highly rated
player. Jordyn's affection for the game of football along with her concern and interest
for those who play the game is reflected in the excellence that is Jordyn Mills.
