Thinking about different forms of government, which of the following

statements do you agree with most?
Some people say free market capitalism is the best form
of government. They say that its not the governments
job to pick winners and losers and that government
intervention only leads to inefficiency. They say that
capitalism produces the greatest amount of personal and
economic freedom for every individual and is ultimately
results in the best economic outcome for society, even if
some people are left behind because they cant compete.

Other people say that socialism is the best form of

government. They say that corporations have too much
control and that the capitalist system is set up to favor the
rich and powerful. They say that the only way to police
corporations and protect the citizens is for the
government to take a larger role in managing the
economy to make sure that every individual has equal
access to basic necessities and public goods, even if that
means that some people have to transfer their wealth to
others.

have proposed drastically changing the healthcare system
in this country to ensure that everyone, regardless of
income, has the same access to healthcare. They suggest
doing away with private practices, private hospitals and
private insurance plans and instead replacing them with a
government run system that would be funded through
federal and state tax dollars. Would you favor or oppose
