Activities and Strategies:

Students will work in heterogeneous groups of 6. Amongst each group they will elect
one person to try and win the votes for the entire class. Once the 4 selected students
have been chosen they amongst there groups will have to work to make a campaign
to win their electoral vote from their peers. They will collaborate on making a
campaign to get students to vote for them. They will discuss what makes them
effective leaders and how to get students to vote for them. During the activity they
will be given a set of questions and will be discussing their answers amongst each
other; giving themselves time to get different perspective on their choices. Once the
students have made their campaigns they will try to persuade the students to vote
for them. Students will then be given time to vote and explain why they chose who
they chose. Once they vote is over as a class they will explain what happened and
why they chose who they chose. This will incorporate what happens when you arent
