 SWOT ANALYSIS OF PAF-KIET

STRENGTH:

• Good Faculty.
• Collaboration with Air Force.
• Guest speaker sessions arrangement.
• Organize and participate in events like Programming Competition in different
universities, Job fair events at Expo Centre.
• Participated in ZABMUN and LUMUN.
• Conduction of Final year Project exhibition.

WEAKNESS:

• Lack of Student Career Counseling.

• Unethical practices regarding fees, For Example: Market forces and Exemption
Fees for the courses exempted.
• Unavailability of Computer Lab and Library.
• Unavailability of books in library.
• Lack of student’s extra curricular activities.

OPPORTUNITIES:

• The Good faculty strength will help in making cream of students passing out from
the university thus will help adequately in establishing good image of university.

• Collaboration with Air Force will help in making good image in the minds of
student, brand name will establish in the market and more students will come
towards it because of Air Force as it will give more protection and don’t support
any political parties creation in the university.

• Guest Speaker Sessions arrangement will give students the opportunity to

familiarize with the Job Market and have chances of getting jobs as the speakers
are from different industry/markets.

• Events like Job fair at Expo Centre and Final Year Project exhibition will give
students opportunity of getting a good job as the evaluators of final year projects
are from different industries/markets.

THREATS:

The above mentioned all weaknesses i.e. lack of career counseling, unethical practices,
unavailability of computer labs and books in library, lack of extra curricular activities
will lead to the dissatisfaction of students and when they will be dissatisfied then they
will move towards other universities. This will become threat for PAF KIET.
The threat for PAF KIET is SZABIST, IBA etc.
