Objective(s) for todays lesson: Students will make connections between basic economics
of business and their own lives.
I can make connections between economics and my life.

Rationale: Students will be more interested in learning about economics if they begin
thinking about how it affects their lives. This will also introduce new vocabulary to
students so they can begin using accurate terms within context.

Materials & supplies needed: Anchor chart paper, construction paper, scissors,
markers/crayons, pencil, Google slides, The Tortilla Factory, Plickers
