LEARNING DERIVED

The conditions this patient went through were all discussed in Nursing Care
Management 103 and it was interesting to see manifestations of heart conditions
during duty. The most interesting part of using this diagnosis is to understand the
pathophysiology of the heart and how different conditions can affect specific parts
of the body. Having the sense of awareness thus moved us to further study of the
disease so to provide the appropriate nursing intervention towards promoting
wellness.
It is essential to ensure that patients are fully involved in care
decisions in a nursing responsibility. I learned how important it is to make
therapeutic relationship to our patients because we are not just there to give them
their medicine, but to care for them holistically. I realized how important the heart is
for the human body and that the person should always take good care of it to
prevent Heart conditions such as Coronary Artery Disease.
