ABSTRACT
Study of the critical aspects of control, quality, safe, technical and operational in a
miner cycle of underground excavation its a document developed on base of research
procedures which are based on information obtained in situ and complemented with
the study of specialized literature. This investigation was developed in Pacfico Superior
Project, led by CODELCO Chile, El Teniente Divisin and built by EECC. This research
was made about de construction of the gallery access for the UCL, Production, Haulage
and Ventilation Levels of this Project.
This thesis document could be used as a guide for the enforcement of the operation
and also for its control. The purpose of this thesis can be summarized on the following
topics:
Recognizing in practice the unitary operations of a miner cycle and its main
components, accurately defining the critical aspects for a miner excavation can
reach and satisfy the basic constructive requirement, by mean of use of flow
sheet.
Describing in minutely detail a logical sequence of the methodology used for the
construction of an underground excavation based on a set miner cycle.
Having quality and technical controls in the field which can be used in each
unitary Operation, establishing quality protocols based on technical standard
models, Quality Management Programs and Inspection and Test Program (ITP)
The main results obtained will be of qualitative kind coming from real sources observed
in the field, at the same time these results will be expressed in a quantitative way as
graphics and data tables.
