Shakespeares writing style

Shakespeare is one of the worlds greatest authors and

poets of all time. He wrote around 38 plays and 154
sonnets. Some of the most famous quotes
are from his writings.
He wrote many tragedies (such as Hamlet,
Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet),
historical plays (Richard III, Richard II,
Henry IV, Henry V, Henry VI) and comedies.
Shakespeare had a very specifying writing
style, his sonnets had ten syllables per line
and the lines were unrhymed.
Over the time his writing style developed and he started
using a lot of metaphors.
That made his style so recognizable and his quotes worth
remembering.
But it wasnt just his writing style that is remarkable but
also his characters.
The important thing about the way he represented the
characters is that he made them seem real and human
because of their flaws and imperfections.

Macbeth
His characters are mysterious and dark. For example
Macbeth.

His behaviour showed his dark side

and defined not just his personality
but also personality of his wife that
was encouraging him in his actions.
He
is

tyrant, cruel, murderer but also ambitious.

Being passionate is very good in life but in his case it just
made him cruel and made him do things that he regrets.
Macbeth as a character shows us what guilt and lack of
self-esteem and strength of character can do to a man.

Romeo
Juliet

and

Romeo and Juliet are

a
set
of
very
passionate
Shakespeares
character. But unlike
Macbeth they were
passionate about love and they were guided by beautiful
and pure feelings.
Like all young people in love they were stubborn, blinded
by love and rebellious.
They belong in a world defined by love. Thats why not
being able to love each other is so hard and difficult for
them.
