Fine Living Community

Descriptors
a. Population
- The type of people living in my community will be mostly centered around starting
families, families with children who are already in school, and elderly. By having this
kind of diversity it will show that the community is open to having any age living in the
community. Race is not an issue either, as we do not discriminate who lives amongst us.
The population will also include male and females of different sexual orientation and
social classes.
- Different sub divisions will vary in size. The biggest sub division in the community will
range around 600 hundred residents. Smallest sub divisions will range around 300
hundred residents.
- The actual population will be around 5,000 as we are still developing
- population density = 15,000
- Birth Rate- 100 yearly

Death Rate- 75 yearly

- Animals in the area include: squirrels, deer, snakes, alligators, pigeons, rabbits, insects,
turtles, armadillos, fish, foxes, and lizards.
- Type of work includes construction, garbage management, street sweepers, convenient
stores, gas stations, entertainment stores, grocery stores, and electronic stores.
- The people living in the community will be living with average American salaries.
However there will be a few families that make a little more.
b. Types of Government
- There will be a hospital towards the outskirts of town. It will have an Emergency room

and ICU as well as other units for patients. Also doctors offices will be conveniently
located through out the community. Firehouses and police stations will also be located in
the community to protect and serve those in need.
- There will be at least two middle schools, two high schools, and three elementary
schools. The elementary schools will have daycare and preschool available. One of the
middle schools will be a private catholic school. Both the high schools will be public.
There are no universities amongst the community. Students will have to travel to a
different community for college.
- There will be public buses that run through the community as well as taxis. Bike lanes
will also be installed on the roads incase anyway resident wants to bike.
- Guns will not be sold in the community and will not be allowed on the streets without a
permit to have one in a household.
- Garbage management will come through every Wednesday and Saturday. On Saturday
recycling will also be collected.
- Water will come from outside the city as well as around local springs that flow into the
cities. Energy will be produce at solar panel farm. There will be a couple
telecommunications companies that will provide television and internet services.
- Government services will be government funded and from a small portion of taxes paid
by the residents.
c. Types of industry and retail business
- Types of residential spaces included apartment villas, mansions for the few wealthy, two
story homes, one story homes, and condos.
- In some sub divisions parks for recreation will be built for families with children. Parks

will include state of the art playgrounds and basketball courts. Water fountains will also
be installed to hydrate residents.
- Some forests will be left alone so that animals will have a place to live safely away from
humans.
- Office buildings will be located away from the homes and will be closer to the outside
of the community. This will direct all the traffic away from the community so there will
be less clutter.
- A shopping mall will also be located near the high school that way it will give young
teenagers a place to hang out and stay out of trouble. It will be a big mall so there will
always be something to do there.
d. Types of industry and retail business
- Hotels and other chained businesses will be carefully place through the community
- Locally owned business will be located near the resident homes. This will allow the
businesses get exposure to residents first before chained businesses.
- Farming and other kind of factory will be located outside of the community. Trucks
will bring in any necessities to the community.
e. Transportation and travel
- Residents will have to travel to the next community to get to the airport. The airport
ranges from 30 to 40 minutes away from the community.
f. Land area
- The land area will be sufficient enough to hold 5,000 residents. The community is not
that big. By not having it so big people will get to know their neighbors and be more
personal towards everyone. By having such a close knit community crime wont be as

high.
g. Food requirements
-Food will come from fresh markets outside of the community. Trucks will deliver the
fresh produce weekly to local grocery stores.
h. Energy needs
- The solar farm will be big enough to power two big cities. By having the solar panels
the community can keep a green footprint.
i. Leisure activities
- All sports will be available to the residents living in the community. Rec centers will
have seasonal sport sign ups. There will also be developmental programs incase a family
wants to have their child take sports to a different level than recreational level. There will
also be Fitness centers so that people can stay fit and live healthy. There will also be
community groups so people can participate in activities that they share interest in.

The Fine Living Community may have a problem being realized because it is not as big
as other communities. However once people realize this community, people will spread
the word about the community. There is so much to offer for visitors and residents that
people will want to come back and visit again. By keeping green with our energy and
getting our water from a clean source the Fine Living Community is a sustainable
community. We want to do as much as we can to keep our community clean. Most of
these services are made available from the taxes paid by residents and from government
funding. Nonprofit organizations also help fund some of the services around the
community.
