DEFICIENCY

At lower loads the mixture becomes leaner, the engine requires

enrich mixture at low loads

IDLE SYSTEM

A carburetor idle system provides the engine air-fuel mixture at

speeds below approximately 800 rpm or 32 km/h

OFF IDLE SYSTEM

(PART THROTTLE SYSTEM)

Activates when the throttle is partially open

DEFICIENCY

As the air-flow approaches the max. wide open throttle value the
equivalence ratio remains const. which must be increase to 1.1 or
greater to provide maximum engine power

ACCELERATION SYSTEM

The carburetor acceleration system provides extra fuel when the

engine speed changes from idle to maximum

CHOKE SYSTEM

The choke system is designed to provide extremely rich air fuel

ratio to aid cold engine starting

DEFICIENCY

At intermediate loads the mixture equivalence ratio increases slightly as the airflow
increases
