    Thiswasmysecondresearchinterview,butitwasmyfirstinterviewwithaPediatric
    Oncologist.BecausemylastinterviewwaswithaPediatrician,myquestionslasttimewere
    moregeneralized.ForthisinterviewIfocusesmoreonaskingquestionsformatedtoPediatric
    Oncology.ThroughoutthisinterviewImainlywantedtofocusonwhatthelifeofaPediatric
    Oncologyislike.ThehighlightofmyinterviewconsistedoflearningabouthowDr.Klesse
    decidedonpursuingPediatricOncologyasacareerbecauseitissuchaspecializedfield.Ialso
    wascuriousabouthowDr.KlessemanagestheemotionalstressofbeingaPediatric
    Oncologist.Thisfieldisaverymentallytiringinthatmanychildrendaytodayhavethe
    possibilityoflosingtheirlives.WhenIdecidedtostudyPediatricOncology,thisemotionalstress
    wasmymainconcern,soIwantedtolearnmoreabouthowthesedoctorscopewiththisstress.
    Dr.KlessesaidthatshedecidedtobecomeaPediatricOncologistbecauseshewasalways
    fascinatedbycancers,specifically,tumorsinthebrain.Shealsosaidthatshewantedtowork
    withchildrenbecausetheyarealwaysfuntobearound.
    Dr.Klessealsomentionedthatalthoughthisfieldisquitestressful,shecopedwithitby
    findingthingsthatmadeherhappy.Thingslikeplayingwithherkidsalwaysmadeherhappy,
    (Klesseinterview,2015).ThisinformationremindedmeofwhatDr.Leonsaidinmylast
    interview.Shesaid,Thatwhenworkgottostressfulshefoundanoutlettorelievestress,(Leon
    interview,2015).OnethingIfoundsurprisingduringmyinterviewwasthatDr.Klesseactually
    participatedinanMDPHDprogram.ThroughthisprogramshewasabletoobtainherPHDas
    wellasherMD.Ididn'tknowthatthesetypesofprogramsexisted,soafterlearningofthis
    informationIwanttolearnmoreabouttheseprograms.IalsowaswonderinghowDr.Klesse
    wasabletomanageherpersonallifewithherwork/educationlife.Shesaidthat,Youshouldn't
    putyourlifeonhold,(Klesseinterview,2015).Thismeaningthatyoushouldn'twaittodothings
    inyourlifebecauseofyourjoboreducation.Thisinformationwasrelevanttomebecauseinthe
    futurewhetherIpursueacareerinPediatricOncologyornot,IdoknowthatIwanttobea
    doctorandtobeabletobeadoctorittakesandlongtimeofeducationbeforeIcanfullyhavea
    propercareer.InthefutureIdowanttostartafamily,andIwasalwayscurioushowdifficultit
    wouldbetomanageafamilylifewithaneducationallife.
    AfterhavingthisinterviewIhavemorequestionsonwhatPediatricOncologist
    specificallydoinordertodiagnoseandtreatpatients.Ihavedoneresearchassessments
    discussingofdiagnosesandtreatmentprocedures,butIwanttoknowifthesetacticsareused
    intherealworldoriftherearedifferenttacticsthatthesedoctorsuse.Ialsowanttolearnmore
    aboutnewtreatmentproceduresthatarecurrentlyinresearch.Ihavereadaboutnewtransplant
    methodsthatarecurrentlyinresearch,soIwanttolearnmoreaboutifthesedoctorsare
    actuallytestingthesemethods.ThisinformationisrelevanttomebecauseIgotalotof
