The purpose of this lesson is to practice
the COTS of shooting and to understand
that shooting a soccer ball on a goal is
how you win a soccer match.

The students will be asked to sit down
with their partner on the white line and

with?
Adaptations
For students who need the activity made
easier we can take the running portion
out of the equation and shoot from a
stationary position. For the students that
need the activity to be more challenging I
could make the run to the net longer than
5 yards.

shoelaces (i.e., instep of
foot)

Kick hard!
Common Errors Task 2:
1. Students kick the ball with
the toe of the foot instead of
the laces.
2. Students do not have the non
kicking foot next to the ball.

Transition:
Students will be asked to bring all the
equipment to the bag and take a seat on
the white line.

CLOSURE:
Review: Good job today class you did a
great job. Today we went over shooting a
soccer ball and shooting on the run.
