Instructional Plan
I will do my best to perform a read aloud at the beginning of
each day. This will accommodate the students that lack story
time at home.
I will continue to allow students to choose their own books.
These just-right books are within their comfort zone and will
keep reading interesting and engaging.
I will also introduce/recommend books that will challenge
them as a reader.

Instructional Plan cont.

I will lead guided reading groups while taking
into consideration that everyone learns at
different speeds and requires different levels of
patience.
I will encourage students to take the time to slow
down when they read. I want them to make that
connection and understand what they are
reading.
