structures,traditions,holidays,languages,etc.Asapartofourstudy,youwilldosomeresearchintotheirown

includeaphotographofeach.Writeafullpagebiographyabouttheirlifeinshortunifiedparagraphs.You
mightconsiderdividingyourparagraphsintochildhood,work/worklife,familylife,andmiddleoroldage.

Everycommunitythatyourancestorslivedinhasauniquehistory.Lookup
thesecommunitiesonlineandprovidesummariesoftheirhistoriesfromthetimeperiodinwhichyourfamily
livedinthearea.Youmaywanttoincludemajorindustriesoreventsthatmadethesecommunitiesspecial.
ResearchandsummarizeTWOcommunitiesinwhichyourgrandparentswereborn.Youshouldciteatleast
twosourcesforeachcommunitysummary.

7.Autobiography
Write

anautobiographyaboutyourself.ItmustbeONEpageinlength.Includeaphoto
collageofyourchildhoodyearsonaseparatepage.

8.BioPoems
Writeabiopoemfortwofamilymembersthatappearonyourfamilytree.Besuretoincludea
photographofeach.Thesebiopoemscannotbewrittenaboutthesamepeopleasdetailedinthetwo
biographies.WewilldiscusshowtowriteabiopoeminclassduringtheweekafterSpringBreak.

Identifyafamilyrecipethathasbeenanimportantpartofyourfamilyscelebrationsor
traditions.Includethisrecipeandastoryaboutwhyitissignificanttothemembersinyourfamily.Therecipe
shouldincludethenameofthefood,categoryoffood,ingredients,directions,andapictureofthefood.
