1. Students will move quietly to sit on the mat


2. Teacher will welcome students with a positive and happy attitude to
introduce the topic of the lesson
Good morning students, today we are focusing on the topic our nearest
neighbours, Asia. Today we will be looking at 4 different countries in Asia
and exploring different apps including bound round, then creating a
passport to convince our parent to go on a holiday. Followed by a mind
map on the information we know about the four countries in Asia
3. Teacher will explain to students what tasks will lead up to our final
task of making a imovie
4. Teacher hands out ipads to each student

5. Teacher picks a student one at a time to come up to the board and

1. With the help of the bound round app students should now have a
load of information about their nearest neighbours
2. Teacher sets up bubble us on the interactive whiteboard where
students one at the time can collaborate and take turns on adding
information about Asia on the board

3. Once students have created a mind map with information including:


- Culture
- Background of country
- Popular event
- Traditions
- Food
- Costume
Teacher may move onto main activity.
1. Each student receives materials in order to create a passport
2. Students are to create passport on chosen country
3. Students will collaborate with one another with their ideas and
designs

students to show their passport
