Engage (warm up, review prior knowledge):


The teacher beginning the lesson by asks the students about both kings, who can remind me of the
kings that we talks about on the last lessons? The father and his son?
Students raise their hands and says parts of tens and parts of hundreds
Teacher says Who will write for me on the board both of them? the teacher chooses one students.

Teacher says here I have game for you that we want to find out the equivalent fractions and
decimals on hundred and tenths. As I have here some examples on the board that I want you to write
for me its name (appendix 1)

One students says that it 10 0
The teacher asks students if I want to write this number as a tenths what should I do? As the lesson
before we multiply on 10 but now we should do what If I want to make it on ten?, here I have two
zero on hundred but on ten only one zero, if I want to make the twenty into tenths parts what should I
do?
Students says that we must divide the twenty and hundred by 10 to get the number

amount. Now I will distribute white boards for each student and I will present some samples and I
want you to write the equivalent for each sample.

The teacher distribute white boards and markers for students and start present the samples by the
Data show (Appendix 2) and says if you finished hold your board up and show me your answers
Students start solve the problems on their white boards and hold it up if they finished
Teacher check students answers, and says good job boy, now erase the board and be ready for the
next sample (appendix 3)
After finishing the samples the teacher play a puzzle game with the students and calls for two
students only to challenge each other
And says I want two boys to come in front of the class to play a challenge puzzle game
Two students come out and get ready for the challenge.
The teacher open the video on the data show to let all the students see their works while they
matching the puzzle. (appendix 4)
Students start matching the puzzle (appendix 5)
When they finish after two minutes, the teacher takes some pictures of works to present it on the
data show, so all students can see clearly from their places.
The teacher start asks the students about their answers, what do you think? Are all their answers
correct?
If there is a mistake some students comes out to solve it.

Close (wrap up, discussion, brief review activity or assessment):


The teacher end the lesson by giving students worksheet (appendix 6) to let them solve the
problems and they have only 5 minutes to do it before the bell ring.
All students start solves the worksheet then they give it to the teacher. The teacher will market and
give it back to the students to check if they understand the lesson or not.
