Implementation
In order to address long-term solutions to the marketing and branding
challenge, Oasis Consulting has come up with four strategic proposals.
The first strategic plan is how to properly use the mission statement, logo,
and brochure as a branding tactic. Oasis Consulting provides creative ideas
along with step-by-step procedures on how to implement them. These tools
will advance VCMilCs brand recognition among its target audience.
The second strategy included in this consultation is how to reorganize the
current website. The team conducted research on the optimal organization of
websites and has provided limited suggestions. The team recommends hiring
a professional who has extended knowledge on hard coding websites to give
VCMilC the best possible results.
The third strategy presented in this report is how VCMilC can utilize social
media platforms as a marketing tool. Oasis Consulting has provided a
detailed description of how VCMilC can immediately begin using Facebook
and Twitter to promote their organization. Furthermore, the team advises
VCMilC to create a content plan for these mediums. All suggestions and tools
provided are designed to assist in maximizing marketing and branding efforts
via social media.
The fourth strategy provided is how to recruit human resources. This strategy
is very crucial in order to follow the previous strategies. VCMilC needs to
obtain human resources with extensive knowledge of website coding and
social media implementation in order for the prior strategies to be
meaningful and long lasting. Not only does VCMilC need to find someone to
do the initial set up of a new website and of social media platforms, but also
to maintain these marketing mediums on a regular basis. It will do no service
to VCMilC if these tools are not kept up to date with new events and
programs being offered by the organization. Oasis Consulting has provided
different methods to find potential employees or volunteers to fulfill these
needed positions, in addition to providing specific job descriptions in the
appendix. The team also factored in the cost of hiring for these positions and
provided possible options to receiving assistance at no cost.

Business Challenge
Marketing and Branding
Oasis Consulting and Kim Evans felt that there was potential growth for
VCMilC in the marketing and branding sectors. In order to increase visibility
within the community, Oasis Consulting felt that VCMilC would benefit by
establishing a concise mission statement, a recognizable logo, an updated
brochure and website, as well as integrating social media platforms to their
marketing tactics.
6
Human Resources
Because the organization is fairly new, there is a lack of human resources
with extensive knowledge of digital technology. This challenge should not be
overlooked because it will pose a problem when trying to implement a
marketing and branding plan.
