200 Shirley avenue Norfolk, VA 23507 April 5, 2006 Dear Christopher Paolini, | am a 5th grade student at Ghent Elementary School. A few months ago, | was looking at a Scholastic book magazine that | got from school and my mom saw this book with a picture of a dragon on it. Since | was some kind of expert at reading, she said that she would buy it and make me read it. | looked at the picture and said okay, since | thought it wasn’t going to be such a big deal since my mom did this to me a lot. Boy, was | in for surprises !! Once | started reading the book called ERAGON, it was really hard to put down! | read it whenever | had the chance, like during swimming practice and after | finished my homework. | loved it how enthusiastic it was at some parts like when Eragon figured out that his uncle was dead because of the Ra’zac. also liked the part where Eragon fought with all his might to at least try to kill the shade and succeeds!! Every time | read that book it was like | was ina magical place where Eragon was. | kept on wondering how Eragon felt every time he fought or tried to do magic. | now look forward to finishing your 2nd book called ELDEST that | am starting to read already and hope to somehow find the answer to my questions. | thank you for writing magnificent books!
