We, the SC/ST Teachers’ Form, had resolved and conveyed our decision to resign from administrative positions on 21/1/2016, We withdrew the resignations conditionally on request from Prof. Periasamy in our email dated 3/2/2016 (please find the email amached). In continuation of this decision conveyed, we now reiterate our stand that we are resigning from our positions since you have returned as VC before the judicial probe is completed as well as in the light of the highly disturbing events that have taken place on the campus since your return, especially, the targeting of students and particularly Dalit students leading to the arrest of many students who had done nothing except peacefully protest against your return as VC. Further, faculty who were trying to calm the students and persuading them to leave the VC lodge premises were unfairly targeted and arrested. The University has nor condemned their arrest and instead has filed false cases on them. All of this has lead to a complete loss of faith in your ability to lead this university. ‘Therefore, we cannot continue our administrative positions with this administration. 1h cognizance of your moral, ethical and legal involvement in the various incidents of harassment of students and faculty on campus, we demand that you step down from the Vice Chancellor's — office immediately in the larger interest of University of Hyderabad. ‘Yours sincerely 1 Dr. Sudhakar Babu ener SC/ST Teachers’ Forum.
